 John Dawson, Store Manager
Where to start with John? John has been with Richer Sounds since the dawn of time! (Well, 18 years to be precise). A retired hell raiser/party animal, he’s now happily married with two boys but gets his kicks from riding motorcycles (thinks it keeps him young!). John’s skills include the ability to provide the name of any stylus post 1960! He also specialises in sucking pushed in tweeters out with a “snogging” action, and shrinking turntable belts in hot water for pensioners (who needs to buy a new belt?). His experience in audio/AV is unquestionable with years spent at Richer Sounds and specialises in areas including hi-fi connectivity, positioning and isolation (was once lost in Wentbridge Woods for a week!) John welcomes all to his fantastic city centre store ands guarantees you a thoroughly enjoyable shopping experience.
 Jason Lunn, Deputy Manager
Jason is a massive 80s and dance music fan, with a CD collection that represents this. A keen sportsman, Jason focuses his spare time on working out and socialising. Ask him about his talents, he will thoroughly enjoy detailing his early Doncaster sporting achievements. With many years experience in customer service including two years management, Jason is always available to help. I would also advise speaking to him about all things audio-visual, as his knowledge in this area is extensive.
 Pat Marr, Sales Consultant
Patrick enjoys relaxing to hardcore metal on his home system. And this is no basic system; Pat prefers the warmth that only analogue can provide - the bottom line is that he likes to listen to music the way it should sound. With a degree in Sound Technology, three years experience in hi-fi sales and also a keen drummer, Pat certainly has the credentials to match his enthusiasm.  Dan, Manager
If he can't do it, no one can! Dan is one of our most experienced colleagues with 5 years of Richer Sounds service and commitment under his belt. His passion lies in making people happy - easy there, tiger! He's full of energy and enthusiasm partnered with extensive hi-fi and home entertainment knowledge. Just ask him about his speakers and you'll find out what we mean! So if you need advice or maybe a shoulder to cry on, Dan's your man!
 Simon Lunn, Sales Consultant
Simon has always had a keen interest in music and socialising, on a weekend you will find him out and about listening to his favourite styles; ‘Old Skool’ and 80s. He has been actively involved in Sales and Customer Service for the last 16 years giving him a distinct advantage in this area. As the most mature member of the team, Simon has watched hi-fi and AV equipment evolve and has always been an ardent technologist. He knows all about our massive range of TVs and is always happy to help.
 Ben Worrall, Sales Consultant
Ben is passionate about computers and sound technology, and he spends much of his spare time writing experimental music, collaborating with other artists across the country, and also runs his own label. A hardcore gamer, his main experience is with computers and music production, however he also has three years under his belt at Richer Sounds with specialist knowledge in areas including custom home cinema and home studio setups.
 Chris Lumb, Sales Consultant
Chris has been with the Leeds RS for a few years now, a keen guitarist and music fan he loves a bit of quality hi-fi, regularly re-mortgaging to get the latest bit of kit. He's an enthusiast of all things tec and gadgety (a little geeky I guess some might say!). Chris has a wealth of hi-fi and AV knowledge so you're guaranteed to get a well tailored system to suit you taste and room. If you want some advice on multi-room systems he's got lots of experience so feel free to ask.
 Dave, Stockroom Controller
Dave brings a bit of Yorkshire rastafarian charm to the store. When he's not relaxing under the huge pile of stock he's supposed to be controlling, he can usually be found stalking the stockroom tunnels hunting the elusive amazing technicolour dream plasma! He sings songs he and his "boy" band have written to ward off theevil cellar rats! Multi talented Dave also supervises Tasha and Julie, our beautiful flyer hander outers who you may have bumped into around town (but only when the weather is nice!) Make Dave happy!! Bring him cake! He LOVES the cake!
 Mike Joseph, Phone Answerer
Our phone answerer Mikey is always happy to answer any of your hi-fi or audio-visual queries. DVD, audio interconnectivity, plasma and LCD setup, there are no limits to Mike’s knowledge. He's the king of cool, like Mr T would say, "don't be a fool" - come on down, and if your legs are aching you can sit on our stool" (this offer only valid after school)(or the pool) that's the rule!"
