An introduction to the Liverpool store and its staff

Richer Sounds Liverpool is located on Berry Street next to the historical grounds of St Luke's Church and has been trading in Liverpool since 1988. It's only a five minute walk up Bold Street from Central station and we are easily reached by car. There are many parking spaces around the store but the easiest place to park is in the car park behind the China Palace Chinese restaurant just a few doors down as shown on the map. Don't forget if you pay for your parking we will reimburse you! There is also a loading bay just outside our front door which makes loading up any purchase a doddle!

Liverpool is a city in a period of fantastic change. If you haven't visited the city centre for a while we would strongly recommend a look around. The 'Capital Of Cultre 2008' title has meant the city has many new lovely buildings and attractions - well worth a visit! It's a bit of a myth that the city is difficult to get around due to the re-development - quite the contrary, come and see for yourself.

The store has changed a bit recently as well. We now have over 30 plasma and LCD screens all wired up to demonstrate Hi-Definition but unlike most other stores we can also demonstrate regular TV and DVD at the touch of a button. If you want to view the latest 1080P TVs we also have these running with amazing Blu-Ray players for the very finest picture quality available. We are confident our team can find your perfect TV as well as arranging delivery and installation if required. Recently we have also added projectors to our range so if you fancy creating a true home cinema then do pop in.

There really isn't that much that we don't know about surround sound and this is definitely one of our chosen specialist subjects! We only stock the good stuff at amazing prices so if you are in the market for a new system or just fancy upgrading parts of what you already have we'll have lots of suggestions for a perfect made to measure system.

Our range of hi-fi gear has expanded dramatically over the last couple of years as well. We now offer some higher specification gear including the amazing and multi award winning Cambridge 740 and 840 series. This stuff really has to be heard to be believed so if you are interested in the best quality sound we strongly recommend a visit. Of course we still have our famous range of amazing hi-fi and our buyers regularly come up trumps with some super special deals! We are also stockists of Sonos and Incognito multi room equipment and would be glad to offer a quote or help explain the technology.

We don't mind if you come down to buy a blank CDR or spend your life savings, please do pop in for a coffee and a chat. The team are one of the most experienced in the biz and genuinely get a kick out of sorting out all of your electrical dilemmas and delivering the best deals on the planet! If you are baffled by the technology or not sure which cable to use then come and talk to us. Phil, Store Manager
From LA to L8, globetrotting DJ Phil has been dishing out his hi-fi and TV knowledge for over 8 years! Obsessively tidy Phil hates clutter and visible cabling and has been known to go to extraordinary lengths to keep it hidden, making his missus a very happy lady in the process. If you’re after info on a tidy install or fancy a new amplifier for your bangin’ beats, Phil knows the store and its contents better than anyone and will be only too pleased to impart his knowledge.

Justin, Deputy Manager
Justin is the man for everything from THX to VCD. Frank Skinner look-a-like Justin is rather partial to 70's prog-rock (so you might want to avoid the subject of music!) and has a DVD collection bigger than the USAs trade deficit with China. Justin has been a true AV enthusiast for over twenty years and there is nothing this man does not know about how to set up TVs and hi-fi's. Just don’t get him started on Rick Wakeman, or we’ll be one stop from 24-hour opening!

Diego, Senior Sales Assistant
Found in a jungle after being reared by wolves, Diego developed skills many thought impossible or at very least improbable for someone of his background. After many years of training he learnt to balance on two feet and indeed now balances on two wheels as a budding Valentino Rossi (he wishes). He has been travelling Europe to find his ancestors and not as he says (yes he talks) to watch the footy. Diggers (to his mates) is a big gamer so therefore loves his flat screens, what better reason to pop down and see him today!

Chris, Senior Sales Assistant
Straight out of a year long vacation in, erm, the Chester store, young stud muffin Chris is back to please his fans! Probably the world's biggest Bob Dylan fan, this boy will take all your desires seriously and knows as much as can be known about the latest technologies, from music servers to MP3. Shamone!

Nick, Sales Assistant
‘Modern Man’ Nick can usually be found in the Skin Care aisle at your nearest Boots, but when he isn’t applying the fake tan he can be found imparting his hi-fi knowledge to the masses at your local Richer Sounds. The youngest member of our team, Nick is always enthusiastic and ready to help with all of your two channel and surround needs! He even knows a little bit about our range of Plasma and LCD TV’s! Come down and talk over your new Hi-Fi with him today!

Ross, Sales Assistant
Natural blonde Ross is our newest and most Scottish team member (him being the only one and all that), meaning he has all the charm of his northern brethren albeit with more of a fondness for all of us south of the border folk. Ross is a budding thespian having gained his degree in Drama Studies - knowing how to look good on TV means he knows that your new HDTV has to look good too! Speedily picking up all things hi-fi and home cinema, Ross is fast becoming highly knowledgeable in his new field. He’d be more than happy to help you buy that new 50” plasma so pop in for a chat soon! Och!
