Neil White, Store Manager
Nine years experience and counting; Neil is madder than a barrel full of monkeys. This retired DJ will astound you with his knowledge of just about anything from phono pre-amps to the merits of digital video connections.

Nick Salter, Deputy Manager
Usually seen behind a huge stack of vinyl, Nick has worked at Reading for ten years and his wealth of experience will astound you! Easy going and keen to help, he is particularly useful in the area of subwoofers and annoying the neighbours.

Jake Dean, Senior Sales Assistant
Coming to the end of seven years experience and counting, when he's not snowboarding Jake loves listening to obscure hip-hop. Always scouring the hi-fi magazines for the latest developments he is definitely the ‘urban’ man about town.

Toby, Senior Sales Assistant
As a long-standing member of the Richer Sounds family (that’s long not tall) Toby possesses the knowledge and expertise to delight you in every nook and cranny of home entertainment. With ten years under his belt he knows how to tailor to your individual needs and requirements…just don’t wear platforms around him!

Paul Field, Trainee Sales Assistant
Our newest member of the team, Paul presents a wealth of knowledge on anything surrounding computers and flat screens. As a new boy he oozes enthusiasm and given a chance will talk to you all day about anything from wiring up your Gran's TV to who he fancies winning the rugby at the weekend. An amateur boxer in his spare time, when it comes to advice on anything digital, he punches well above his weight. Just don't tickle him!

Josh Bannerman, Career Key Timer
Josh returns to us from a short break from the Richer circle in a part time role. As an ex manager Josh’s experience shines through to everyone he serves. Josh will tailor a system around anyone's needs, especially if you're into reggae.

The Hi-Fi Doctors

Richer Sounds in Reading accommodate 2 fully qualified engineers. Satnam and Bal have over 45 years experience in the trade between them. Fixing more things than Jimmy Saville's had hot dinners. If you need anything repaired its worth a call to see if we can help.

Out of warranty repairs have an initial estimate charge of £35.25, parts and labour will be added depending on the fault.

Repairs can be booked in 7 days a week with any colleague in-store.
