An introduction to the Guildford store and its staff

The Richer Sounds Guildford store is a team full of very enthusiastic, technical and knowledgeable colleagues - or family, as we like to call each other.

All store colleagues are customer service driven which means we aim to be the best and outshine the rest. Feel free to pop down for a browse. Have a free hot drink, a good old chinwag and look at our fantastic little shop, which is full of amazing deals that I am sure you will be interested in.

For all Richer Sounds customers who drive, we do understand that driving and parking your car nowadays can be very stressful. That’s why with no questions asked, we will help you find a parking space and even pay your parking as long as you’re coming into our store and not McDonald’s on the High Street.

Richer Sounds prides itself on service. If you have trouble getting to the store, have a house you would like a system put in or are not sure what size TV would be best etc, please give us a call and arrange a free ‘at home’ consultation. One of our store colleagues will find time to help you out and can even arrange installation for you.

If you are coming to the store for a TV purchase, please be aware that normally we have stock to take away unlike some of the competition. If not, I am sure with our delivery service and exceptional colleagues we will do out best and bend over backwards to help you out.

We have a massive range of TVs in-store all wired up to high definition and standard definition DVD and even normal terrestrial images all with sound. There’s a big accessory range for either stand or wall mounting your TV purchase. Please ask in-store for more details.

Let’s not forget how Richer Sounds started though and certainly in this store we have not forgotten our roots. All hi-fi and home cinema enthusiasts will be pleased to note that we have a massive range of this equipment in store and readily available to suit most peoples needs.

STORE STAFF

John, Store Manager
John is the ‘papa’ of the store and has pretty much owned everything that Richer Sounds has ever sold! Apart from owning every CD ever made, John (as much as he still lives in the late 80’s/early 90’s) is one of the most technical and problem solving guru’s you will ever meet and is a bit of a geek with future technology… although he would not admit to it! John is extremely experienced and has worked in pretty much every store in London, so we are sure that whatever your needs John is the best customer consultant in the universe… see for yourself! John is always on a high and full of energy for your demands or amusement.

Lewis, Deputy Manager
Guildford’s Rasta boy is not what he looks like. Lewis is bar far one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet and on a few occasions has it has been known for people to request Lewis as part of the deal to help set up there equipment as the customer service he provides it literally second to none. Lewis is very technical and his passion lies within all the small bits that customer hate to get involved in, like accessories for your purchase, wiring diagrams and of course hi-fi and home cinema. Feel free to pop down and meet our store legend, but please be aware that he is not for sale!

PJ, Sales Consultant
Ok so he often dreams of being the next Shaft a.k.a. 'Richard Roundtree', but he's ended up looking more like Howard from the Halifax ads! Oh well we can’t have it all. PJ is a bit of a detective & if you have been waiting a long time with no success or need to resolve a problem he's your man. In his spare time he is writing the next great novel and working out the difference between a pronoun and preposition. He's very happy to give you 'Extra'.

Rory, Sales Consultant
Walrus looking Rory is a complete nutcase; he knows every product like they were his own, date of manufacture, specs, dimensions and even colour choices. Rory’s extreme knowledge is favoured in the TV area, so feel free to pop down and test his might, you will be fully satisfied with both the service and information he provides you with. If not, threaten to tell his store manager who will see that his 10 year long stubble on his chin is removed the following day!
