CAMBRIDGE AUDIO AM1

Over the past 15 years, Cambridge Audio have been market leaders with their range of budget amplifiers. The Cambridge A1 has been one of the best selling amplifiers of all time! It is therefore with great pleasure that we bring you their latest model; the Cambridge Audio Topaz AM1.

Designed from the ground-up, the AM1 is a no-frills amp with just the basics but the best sound quality possible. There are no tone controls or fancy equalizers. No flashing lights or unnecessary sockets. What you get is four, line level inputs (1 with output), a balance control and a volume knob; oh, and what you also get is superb sound quality! If you're after a basic but good quality iPod dock, then you can't do any better than the iD10. Designed to match the latest hi-fi and TV, the iD10 looks great in a smooth gloss black finish. Coming complete with a range of inserts, it will happily work with all compatible iPod models.

Audio output is via a 3.5mm socket and the iPod will charge whilst docked. A nice touch with the Cambridge Audio iD10 dock is the supplied mains socket convertors. TIBO EDGE MINI

Small in size, big on value, the Tibo Edge Mini is a sizzling speaker deal!

Unlike most speakers around this price, the Tibo Edge Mini is a genuine hi-fi speaker. This means that rather than the single drive unit and plastic casings that are more usually the norm, the Edge Mini features a solid, MDF cabinet and two-way drive units. The soft dome tweeter and long-throw bass cone are more typical of speakers costing several times as much, as is the cabinet with profiled edges.

With proper hi-fi loudspeaker construction, it's little wonder that the Edge Mini sounds this good. Although small, the bass is powerful with an open attack that avoids the boxiness of plastic speakers. The soft dome tweeter gives excellent clarity, without sounding grainy or aggressive. Finally, the mid-range is remarkably true and accurate for a speaker at this price.
