IMPROVED SOUND QUALITY

The Sony STR-DN1030 has been designed to give amongst the best sound quality at its price. With specially tuned and selected components plus an enhanced power supply, the Sony sounds more detailed and dynamic than lesser models. Power is now up to 120 watts per channel, allowing the Sony to make the most of a wider range of speakers and larger rooms. It also boasts a more substantial chassis that resists mechanical vibration to a greater extent, reducing the chances of subtle distortion in the music. Additionally, the Sony STRDN1030 also features Digital Legato Linear. This automatically cleans and corrects waveforms from digital music for a smoother and less distorted sound quality. Finally, this 7.2 Sony receiver is also able to be used in bi-amp mode. With the channels switched to 5.1, bi-amping gives separate amplification to your front speakers' bass and treble units (bi-wirable front speakers required). Simply download the necessary app and stream your iTunes music library from your iPod Touch/iPhone/iPad to the Sony. Advanced Digital Cinema Auto Calibration (DCAC) optimises the settings, including Automatic Phase Matching, to your room's requirements - at the touch of a button.
