With the new P4HD Full HD upsampling circuit, the DMPBDT220 has the potential for greater detail than ever before. It's also compatible with Full HD 3D and will convert 2D signals to 3D ones, making it ideal as a partner to your active or passive 3D TV. The latest Adaptive Chroma Processing technology precisely processes each pixel in the vertical and horizontal directions for more faithfully reproduced colour. By switching from VIERA CAST to the latest version of VIERA Connect, the DMP-BDT220 now has access to enhanced connectivity and much wider range of apps, including the much requested BBC iPlayer! Many other apps, such as YouTube, make this a great player to mix Blu-rays with online video content. As before, the DMP-BDT220 has DLNA functionality, letting you share content from your PC, laptop or other DLNA connected device. Panasonic have now improved this to make for easier network drive access.

With wi-fi built-in you can make the most of the Panasonic's improved network capability by linking to your system wirelessly. Other great connections include both SD card and twin USB inputs for full compatibility with a wide range of digital media.

PERSONALISED FOR FOUR USERS AND NOW WITH SMARTPHONE REMOTE CONTROL OPTION

Up to four users can be assigned to the player, each with their favourite settings including user icon, home screen wallpaper and picture and audio modes. Available for either Apple or Android, the remote app lets you take control of the Blu-ray player by using the intuitive touch screen on your smartphone.
