"It's been a long wait but Mission has once again delivered a great budget speaker."What Hi-Fi Sound & Vision magazine.

When What Hi-Fi magazine reviewed the Mission MX1 speakers, they not only bestowed them with their top 5-star award, they stated that these speakers ushered in a revival for a speaker company that was legendary in the 1980s and 90s. Take a listen to the Mission MX1s and we think you'll agree! In the best traditions of Mission speakers of old, the MX1s are punchy, dynamic and above all, fun to listen to. Whatever the genre of music, these baby Mission speakers rip through tunes with real enthusiasm. To quote What Hi-Fi magazine; "The MX1s are fast, articulate performers that deliver sizable chunks of punch, expression and detail for the money". In short, the MX1 speakers have got the sort of infectious sound quality that will have you listening to album after album in anticipation of hearing them again, with added vitality.

Standing just 28cm high, these baby Mission speakers are easy to position and flexible enough to work, at full range, in a small room or with a subwoofer for larger rooms. With recessed grills and a smart silver on black trim, the Mission MX1 look more stylish than your average black box, too.

The MX1s are definitely a return to form from Mission. We'll leave the last word to What Hi-Fi: "It's great to see Mission producing excellent speakers again. The MX1s deliver large doses of fun, and that's a rare commodity at this or any price."

Rated 4.8 out of 5áby 10 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5áby Excellent performers I've owned these speakers for over a year and they still amaze me with the quality sound they produce.I listen to a wide range of music from 1930 s blues to hard dance and they handle all genres with the same enthusiasm .The cabinet s are solid and well made and the sound they produce is crisp dynamic and punchy with rock solid imagining .Some reviews criticise them for being a little bright but although the treble can be a touch prominent at times it never strays into harshness .These costú150 at the time i purchased them and are currently priced at ú100 making them superb value for money. One unusual feauture is these speakers are designed to be used with the grilles left on and although it is possible to remove them they do sound better left in place . Mission make a dedicated stand for the mx range ( available from richer sounds ) and i would definitely advise investing in a pair to hear them at they're best. 29 October 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby Good value for performance! Yeah they sound pretty crisp. Design overall seems good (meaning I prefer plainer looking speakers, but they are still good) 11 September 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby good value for a budget speaker Smart little speakers great for a room where you don't want intrusive hi fi 01 September 2014
Rated 4 out of 5áby Just all as I expected I am old school. Love a record deck. Just takes me back to 60's. Sound is great. Actually better than the first time around. 12 August 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby Great speaker, great price For what is classed as a budget speaker, you would be forgiven for Thinking its top of the range, the sound is that good. Had planned on using for my 2.1 set up in my man cave which is pretty much a box room, I have found I no longer need the sub. Very punchy bass from these speakers. All in all great product. 27 July 2014
Rated 4 out of 5áby Excellent small speakers Got these connected via Micromega CD and DAC and NAD 3030 amp and they sound very good, especially considering the price. Delivery was a problem though as was agreed when bought on Saturday they would be picked up on Tuesday for Weds delivery, as was typed in on receipt, as would be out on Tuesday. Was actually picked up Monday and delivered Tuesday so sat outside all day until I got in. Your delivery company needs to follow instructions properly. 24 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby Amazing sound for such a small pair of speakers I use these in my little studio setup. Love the richness of the sound 28 January 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby Best speaker since the old Mission 760 i's. These are the second set of Mission MX 1's I have bought. The only other set of speakers I bought in '92, were the Mission 762i's which I still have but are past there best now - no wonder they are 21 years old! These MX1's are a fantastic bit of kit, especially when put on a set of Atacama stands. I have a small room so these work perfectly and the quality of sound is brilliant. If you have just over ú100 to spare - don't miss out on a set of these baby's. 02 October 2013
