Rated 5 out of 5 Great product Bought to replace Sky and it's done the job. Easy to set up and use, great features and some bonus features that Sky doesn't have - what's not to like! 20 September 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby excellent product and service from richer sounds i wanted to stop my virgin media tv contract which only gave me freeview program, but i did fine rewind pause and record very useful. now i can do all that and a lot more with this freesat box. and it does'nt cost ú25 a month and there are more channels 18 September 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby Technology that's easy to use. The HUMAX is easy to set up and use. Navigating the programmes and facilities is very straight forward. We're watching on Demand and accessing programmes from the Iplayer - the Humax has made modern viewing platforms easy to access. The sound quality is excellent as well. In fact there are so many benefits we're wondering why we didn't change earlier. 09 September 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby Faster than the Foxsat HDR. Thank heavens! I already have a Foxsat HDR in another room which I bought a few years ago. The channel guide on that is very slow to react to instructions from the remote. The HDR 1000s is much quicker with no discernable lag. The unit is placed o a wooden sideboard which resonates the humming noise from the cooling fan inside. I'll have to isolate it by putting felt cushions on the feet or it will be annoying. Another annoying noise is the two clicks every time the main navigation button on the remote is pressed (one in and one out). Nae need! as they say in Scotland. The HD reproduction on the TV I have it linked to isn't as good as the one on my other TV with the Foxsat HDR but that TV was more expensive and I guess you get what you pay for. Despite the above niggles it's an excellent unit used in basic format without being linked to the internet. I'm hoping for better to come once I get it connected. John C. Rated 4 out of 5áby Simple to use Does what I want without any hiccups. Looks modern and not out of place on the hi fi equipment. 01 September 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby Responsive service I had to take my Humax freesat back because of no sat signal. It was swopped for a new one without me asking and it was tested before i left the shop 22 August 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby Great Sky HD box replacement If you are fed up with Sky charges and find yourself watching only stuff you can watch for free anyway, then make the change now! This is a great bit of kit and I especially like the EPG which seamlessly allows you to see what is is on now, what is on next and here is the clever bit, what was on earlier. It looks like a normal programme menu, but it actually logs onto the appropriate 'on demand' provider and seeks out the program you want to see. It couldn't be easier. You hardly need a recording facility but you get a two channel one anyway. Buy one of these and you will pay for it in saved Sky charges in no time. 20 August 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby Very Pleased Bought this product as I was disillusioned with Sky. So far so good easy to set up, great picture and straight forward to use. 19 August 2014
