    The LG RHT497h follows on from the popular RHT397h with a smooth new look.

    Featuring a flush front panel with centre circle-control, the RHT497h echoes the company's Blu-ray players and, at a stroke, gives this DVD recorder an upmarket look. In other respects, the RHT497 is still a highly featured and high quality DVD recorder.

    If you've ever asked, what discs can I use in a DVD recorder? Then this LG DVD recorder has the answer. Pretty much any! That's right, with its Super Multi Recording, the LG RHT497 will happily record with DVD-RAM, DVD-R/RW or DVD+R/RW. Even DVD+R Double Layer discs are easily accommodated.

    Yet, the LG RHT497H is much more than a simple DVD recorder. Thanks to the built-in 160GB hard drive, this LG HDD/DVD recorder doesn't even need to use blank discs at all! The 160GB hard drive is enough to record hundreds of hours of material. Another great feature with the LG RHT-497h is that if you want to record from the hard drive on to disc, then it takes just 27 seconds to record a typical disc using the high speed dubbing facility.

    Coming equipped with a digital, Freeview + tuner built-in, the RHT497h makes an excellent replacement not just for your old DVD recorder, but also your existing digital set-top box, too.

    Yet this talented DVD hard disc recorder has still more to offer. A DV input makes short work of copying from digital camcorders, while the USB interface proves extremely useful for recording or watching music or photos via a USB storage device.

    It's not just the recording flexibility that drives this DVD recorder/HDD to the top of its class, it's also the performance. DVFX technology combines with upsampling to 1080p via HDMI 1.3, to create a picture that's both rich in detail and colour realism.

Under recent legislation, we are obliged to point out that you obviously do not need to purchase an extended warranty at the same time you purchase your electrical goods and are entitled to shop around. We have been encouraging our customers to do just that for years because, not only are our prices significantly cheaper than our competitors, but just look at what else we include:

    Full parts and labour cover
    Should you encounter a problem, just ask and you'll be provided with a unit to ensure you're not without music whilst your equipment is being fixed.

    Pick up and drop off at your home
    If, for any reason, we are unable to repair your unit, we'll replace it. Naturally, models do change so, while we can't guarantee that it will be the same model, we do guarantee that it will have equivalent specifications.

    Like for like machine replacement if unit is unrepairable
    Have your unit serviced as often as you wish, free of charge, during the 5 year period. (Normally excluded from extended guarantees).

    45 Day Cooling Off Period
    If you're not happy with our 5 Year Supercare package just ask for a full refund - no questions asked. After 45 days, providing no claim has been made, you can also terminate the agreement and receive a pro-rata refund.

    If you don't use it, it won't cost you a thing!

    DELIVERY INFORMATION

    All orders are shipped via our friends at DPD, except high value desirable items such as plasma and LCD TVs over 37 inches, which are sent fully insured with a specialist carrier.

    If this is your first order with us, please ensure that the only address you enter is the credit card billing address, as this is the only address to which we can deliver. If you have previously placed an order on our website, you will be offered an alternative delivery address if your order value is
    less than £500. Also, ensure you only click the submit order button once, as it will take a minute or so to process.

    Delivery occurs within 5 working days (unless ordered on a 1-3 working days service). If after this time you have still to take receipt of your order email webaftersales@richersounds.com providing your order number, name, address, and brief details of what you ordered. We strive to answer all queries within a working day, although at busy times we do ask that you bear with us. Please submit your query only once, as repeated emails/telephone calls only serves to slow down our response time and can result in further delays to your order.

    All deliveries must be signed for. They will NOT be left in garages, sheds, outside loos, porches etc. You must examine the goods before signing for them to ensure they are in good condition - if packaging is damaged please do not accept goods. Instead notify us as soon as possible. If there is no-one in to sign for the goods, they will be taken back to the courier depot and a card left.

    If we are out of stock of an item or there is a problem, we will contact you as soon as is possible.

     
    DELIVERY TRACKING

    Once you have placed an order and the order has been dispatched, you will receive an e-mail (usually the day before delivery) from DPD containing your tracking information. Please note that this does not apply to plasma screens or accessories such as remote controls, cables, leads etc.
