Rated 5 out of 5áby HappyGeezer Very pleasantly surprised
I have a 15 year old Which Magazine 5 Star Award winning matched Sony component system with Sony Brooklands floor speakers. The sound quality has always been so good but all had become redundant when my music became digital, Spotify/iTunes etc.
I tried a QED bluetooth unit a while back but was disappointed and returned it. Then browsing Richer Sounds website last week I saw the HK BTA10. I read loads of reviews between this and the newer QED II and decided to give it a try. I even agreed with the store that if it was anything like the last one I could return it.
I got home, put the kettle on, unpacked the unit, plugged it in to the back of my amp, connected the iPhone and went to make my cup of tea to the crystal clear sounds of Dominic Miller's beautiful guitar strings.
I have no drop-outs, the sound is as good as I've been getting out of the Bose SD10 but due to the size of the units I'm connected to its bigger, deeper and very, very satisfying.
I'm a very happy geezer!

Rated 5 out of 5áby DaveJ Great Piece Of Kit
Works fine in my living room, haven't tried it up to it's claimed 10m range as my devices are only a maximum of about 4m away but I'm able to stream audio from my phone and laptop to it no problem. Quality is great with A2DP devices.
Doesn't seem to like you switching devices without powering it off and back on again but that isn't a problem.
Great for streaming music from my phone or the audio from my laptop.
Small so it doesn't look out of place next to or on top of my amplifier.

I am lucky enough to own another Bluetooth receiver to compare this against. I have a Blackberry Music Gateway in the car.
Well, I bought the Harman Kardon as an impulse buy from the Holborn store as I needed to spend over ú100 to get a tenner off when using my VIP voucher. I bought it in coordination with a Cambridge Audio AM1 Amplifier.
The setup was easy, sound quality good.
However there is one major flaw, as mentioned by other reviewers.
Dropouts. My device has significant dropouts lasting for about 1 second every 5 minutes or so. This is enough to disrupt the enjoyment of music. I listen to a lot of audio books too, and it is noticeable there too, albeit more acceptable.
My BlackBerry Music Gateway has no dropouts at all.
I have tried the following devices with the Harman Kardon: iPhone 5, iPad Mini, Asus FonePad and Google Nexus 4.Distance, 1-5 metres. All of them have audio dropouts with this device. Hence the star rating.
BlackBerry ú30. Harman Kardon ú50.

This is an amazing device. It's so small, much smaller than I thought it would be. It works exactly how it's supposed to and it's easy to set up. As to the sound quality, I noticed no difference between using a physical audio input and the Bluetooth connection. I used this device with my Harmon/Kardon soundsticks 3 and it works perfectly.

Rated 4 out of 5áby elephant HARMAN KARDON BTA10 Bluetooth Antenna
If you want to stream music from your iPhone etc. to your music system and need a wireless interface, then I would recommend the Hardman Kardon BTA10 bluetooth antenna. The antenna is connect to the mains and to the auxilliary input of your music system via the leads provided with it. Some bluetooth antennae connect via the iPod dock which means that you have to exclusively use streaming. The advantage of the HKBTA10 is that you connect via the auxilliary input which frees up the iPod dock so you can switch between the two without having to unplug your iPod.

If you work in a studio with expensive equipment them I am sure that you will say that the audio quality is not the best but for everyone else this is a great product. I have one at home and one at work.
I cannot notice anything bad about the sound quality, to me it sounds great (and I am fussy about music quality), has a great range and also saved me from having to buy a sound system with bluetooth.
Again, sound quality in my opinion is great and its also so easy to use.

Nice little device.
Tested with SG3 and Iphone which both worked perfectly. Tested with an SG2 and it didn't seem to connect properly (didn't see Bluetooth device name correctly) though it could just be issues with the phone.
All in all when it is connected the sound quality is great, can strongly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5áby R4ckers Good product great price
I have bought this product to work with my Bose wave system3. Bose themselves offer a product which is more than double the price of the HK.
I have found the HK so easy and simple to set up and use. The HK comes with all the leads you need which is refreshing compared to other companies.
I have only marked down the sound as there is a slight bit of distortion when you change track from your iPhone, This however does not distract from the overall sound pleasure.
