Smooth, powered action
With a smooth, casing-mounted motor, the screen roles up or down at the touch of a remote control. If you want to hide the screen it also comes with an IR extender, which you can fix to the ceiling to receive the remote signal, while for remote and automated triggering there's a 10m lead to connect it to your projector. An RS232 port allows further automation and control options.

Projector screen
The screen is good and improves the picture quality when there is daylight impacting on the picture quality. Installation is straightforward. Adjustment of the drop is a nightmare and really needs to be better designed, you have to poke a bendy plastic hex key at an obscure angle into the projector and turn it multiple times to ‘fix’ the point which screen extends too. You can only do this once the screen is installed, in my case access was very difficult because I had to stand on a ladder and lean over a fireplace. It is impossible to overemphasise how crappy this way of adjusting the setting actually is. There is nothing user friendly about it, the instructions are also, in my opinion, poor.

Good sturdy build
The Sapphire 77" electric screen was nice and easy to fit and hid away well in a recess in my ceiling. It's well built and feels solid once it's in place. Picture on it seems good although I'm only using a cheap projector at the moment, so the real test will be when I get a better quality one. The only thing that could be improved is the remote control which feels a bit cheap.

Sapphire screen
I work around Chester and have passed Richer sound many times, in my head it was all about speakers , sound systems etc how wrong was I, looking on the Internet for a projector screen I came across Richer sound I phoned and spoke to Rob, and I ended up buying a Sapphire screen and I'm delighted with it , and the way it looks and operates. I would also like to say dealing with Rob was a pleasure, he is a credit to Richer sound helpful and professional throughout the sale and after
Would I recommend Sapphire screens and Richer sound to anyone else? Absolutely, without hesitation.

Sapphire SEWS 180RWSF-ATR Screen
This screen was purchased to replace a pull-up screen which had developed ripples. I was also hoping that the picture would be slightly better given other reviews I had read.
Well the screen has been mounted on the wall and the picture is great, bright and sharp and flat. I also now have more floor space as the screen hangs from the wall. I retract it after use as it's so easy to do and I get my room back if I'm not watching a film.
The only criticism I have is that the power chord is rather short, cost cutting gone mad.
