Small in size, big on value, the Tibo Edge Mini is a sizzling speaker deal!

BUILT LIKE A GENUINE HI-FI SPEAKER

Unlike most speakers around this price, the Tibo Edge Mini is a genuine hi-fi speaker. This means that rather than the single drive unit and plastic casings that are more usually the norm, the Edge Mini features a solid, MDF cabinet and two-way drive units. The soft dome tweeter and long-throw bass cone are more typical of speakers costing several times as much, as is the cabinet with profiled edges.

SOUNDS LIKE GENUINE HI-FI, TOO

With proper hi-fi loudspeaker construction, it's little wonder that the Edge Mini sounds this good. Although small, the bass is powerful with an open attack that avoids the boxiness of plastic speakers. The soft dome tweeter gives excellent clarity, without sounding grainy or aggressive. Finally, the mid-range is remarkably true and accurate for a speaker at this price.

THE VERSATILE CHOICE

With its compact dimensions and quality sound, the Edge Mini is a popular choice for many tasks. Upgrade your surround speakers by using these at the front and rear. Use them as speakers in another room, such as the kitchen or study. Monitor with them on a compact studio or DJ unit. Or, simply plug them into your hi-fi and enjoy - with or without an additional subwoofer for extra bass.

For a versatile and compact speaker with hi-fi sound at a lo-fi price, the Tibo Edge Mini simply can't be beaten!

Rated 4.8 out of 5†by 24 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5†by Surprisingly good I am using these units in my 10 x 10 foot home office and they sound marvellous. I am using the PC as source with a budget USB Dac and a Topping TP21 class D micro amplifier. It seems like the components match very well as the sound is really good. I listen to a lot of speech radio and something not mentioned is how well these speakers project voices, even with the volume low, I can clearly hear every word anywhere in the room. High end is smooth and if wound up there's some bass too. I think the small room helps, as they sounded lost when I first tried them in a far larger room. While build quality is fine, the base of the cabinets are just wood, I shall have to invest in some damping pads 05 February 2015
Rated 5 out of 5†by How do they do it??? When we had problems with the Onkyo Mini System we bought from the ever superb Bristol Branch I had doubts about a direct replacement (once bitten etc). So a Yamaha CRX550 and a pair of these came home instead.. How do they make these for twenty quid?? Ok, they're not heavy but they're neatly constructed, well designed and offer ridiculously good sound for the money. Despite being crammed too close together on the glass stand under the TV which is far from ideal they still manage to offer good clean detail with modest bass from CDs, TV and DAB alike...... While they are never going to rival those on the main system (Dynaudio Audience 52SEs) which retailed for vastly more money I am enjoying listening to these little marvels !! They are going to get a lot of use I suspect. Absolute bargain for a mini system - buy some and see..... 04 January 2015
Rated 4 out of 5†by Lovely small speakers Can't understand how they can sell these for this price. Great value. 13 December 2014
Rated 5 out of 5†by £20 Loudspeakers shouldn't sound this good. Bought a pair of these mini-marvels a week ago ( last pair in shop, thanks Paul for reserving untill i could collect ). Hooked up to my amp, loaded a cd and could'nt believe what i was hearing, punchy, dynamic with enough power to fill my large living room.I've owned speakers that cost five times the price that haven't provided as much entertainment .Sure they're a little bright and the bass a touch resonant but using good stands and about 30cm from the back wall helps immensely .If you've looked at these speakers and thought they can't be very good for £20 give them a listen you might be surprised . 22 October 2014
Rated 5 out of 5†by Admirable audio at an oh-so-low pricetag. I've had these units for a year now and I often don't like writing a review until I've put them through their stages and seen the best (and worst) in them. I must say that for £20 (£10 per unit) these speakers are breathtaking, a real testament to the budget audio scene. Being fair, the audio is nothing compared to a set of KEFs and my ratings reflect this, but lets face it, even at £50 you could do much worse. Being a bit of an enthusiast myself, I took these apart to inspect the innards. The internal cabling and thoughts gone into the design rivals that of even high end audiophile kit, the cabling is by no means anaemic and is of considerably great gauge, the driver was associated to the terminal using spades, and not your typical soldered on job which is a remarkable feat at this price range. Not only that, there is sound dampening foam inside the enclosures. In all honesty, at this price - you simply cannot go wrong. 05 October 2014
Rated 5 out of 5†by A Little Belter O.K. It may not have plummeting depths and a breathtaking midrange.... but it's £20 !!! For your money you get a bass that is punchy and can grunt with the right music, and a very respectable mid/treble performance. Add that to the fact that they are nicely compact, and did I mention that they are £20 !!! I repeat that because some reviewers we're a little mean in their appraisal. As I said to the guy selling them to me when he offered me a £10 warranty, "If I drop them outside, I'll just buy another set!" 03 October 2014
Rated 5 out of 5†by Great sound from a small speaker What can I say £20 for a pair of speakers I will use them in my workshop/garage driven by an old but good amp (Sherwood AX-4050R) linked up to my ipod. 13 September 2014
Rated 5 out of 5†by The reviews don't lie. Truly a marvel of a £20 well spent What can be said of the Tibo Edge Mini that hasn't already been said? The reviews are all bang on. Probably the beat £20 you will spend on speakers if you want a solid, well designed and rounded book shelf speaker. Crisp treble, warm mid range and punchy bass for its size I couldn't believe what I was hearing for what I paid. Ok so these are not your high end audiophile boxes but for budget they bring a whole new meaning to the budget category. Bought to act as stereo audio channels for a TV that had terrible audio, they are now in place with my Teac system as replacements for a 20 year old set of KEF Codas and they more than fulfil their new role. One thing that struck me was the looks, they really do look the part with the smooth invert cones and solid MDF cabineta complete with roundover edges. I definitely recommend these to anyone, for £20 what's the worst that could happen? 29 August 2014
