Enjoy genuine hi-fi sound quality but demand discreet style? Then take a look at the ground-breaking Cambridge Audio Minx system!

If you're in any doubt about the quality of this system then take a look at what the reviewers have been saying. "Well, Bose is about to get a sound thrashing from the British boys at Cambridge Audio, whose brand-new Minx is even smaller than Acoustimass - especially the subwoofer - and simply better. Much, much better." Jonathan Margolis, Financial Times. And; "To say we were impressed is a gross understatement." T3

It may be the smallest in the family of Minx subs but don't underestimate the power of the X200! Like the other Minx subs, the X200 uses unique Cambridge technology to produce a bass response that is both powerful and tuneful.

At the heart of the X200 beats Cambridge Audio's sophisticated DSP (Digital Signal Processor). When combined with the digital amplifier, this provides exceptional bass from what is one of the world's smallest subwoofers. To maximise this advantage the bass cones are constructed of one-piece, aerospace grade aluminium. Configured with a single, powered cone and twin passive cones, the X200 uses technology never before available at this price range. Compared to the more conventional bass ports you get a greatly enhanced bass response with far more detail and control.

Although small, the X200 packs a mighty 200 watts from its active amplifier and offers gain, phase and crossover control for full control and integration with a complete Minx system. Finished in special, scratch-resistant, premium automotive gloss black paint, the X200 is the perfect match for most hi-fi, home cinema and TV systems. Prepare to be impressed!

Rated 4 out of 5 by excellent sub bought this to use with the minx 11 speakers. Wow. This brings them to life. The minx 11 have wonderful detail and separation but lacking in the bass department. Plug this baby in and the whole sound comes to life. Well controlled and powerful too. I am only using as 2.1 speakers, but the sound is detailed and a pleasure to listen. Compact size belies its performance 20 September 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Small is beautiful! Hooked this up with a Denon Piccolo and a pair of Q Acoustics 2020i's. Bass is excellent reverberating wonderfully around the room, ensure the subwoofer is setup iaw with the instructions for maximum performance. I bought this for the conservatory and it is all encompassing, a really nice product. Great customer service from the team at Southampton, will be back. 06 September 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Base perfect base for a small unit ! Simple instructions and connections. 05 September 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Impressive for its size I had to shrink my equipment due to a new addition to the family who likes to get his fingers everywhere. This sub was replacing a Rel Q100E, so it had some hefty shoes to fill! Whilst it can't manage the slamming bass of the Rel, this remarkably small unit produces surprisingly good bass, adding some needed depth to an already decent pair of JBL Control Ones. The only downsides for me are the price, and the fact that the passive radiators on the sides mean placement is a touch trickier than you might expect for a device of this size. 01 September 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Packs a punch Saves space, looks smart, confident about the build quality and really happy with the purchase and in store advice on this product. Will now consider the Cambridge speaker package to compliment. 09 August 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent subwoofer I upgraded my surround sound system. Blew the budget on a complete cambridge audio minx set up & it sounds fantastic. This is approx a 1/3 smaller than the yamaha sub I replaced but the sound has twice the punch. It sets its self up with the other minx speakers. Out of the box to sound took about 2 mins. I don't even have to turn it on.switch on the Amp & it then knows its ready to go:-) pricey but worth every penny. Really pleased. 18 March 2014
