Rated 3 out of 5 by LuisP Not happy with this for music
While it's a decent sub for movies and TV - although still sounds too muddy and mumbling for my taste - it's really not good with music. Sounds very muddy and I'm having to get used to all of my music having an inaccurate and not great for precise base.

Rated 4 out of 5 by george7015 worth the price
I need something narrow, lack of room. Its clean tight bass due to dual cones.DSP better sound from amp. Not the most boomy bass.Better than the MRW10 just....better for movies than music which is what I use it for. I also bought the Q ACOUSTIC 3070s which uses kevlar type cones, smaller lighter unit. The 3070s sounds better...but the price on this unit is very good so its a choice to make between the two.
Tom Griffiths let me test both, helped out all the way.I kept 3070s
Again solid customer services whom dont stop until customer is happy.Impressed at his efforts.

The quality of the bass coming from the subwoofer is probably below average. Overall, I'm not impressed.

I got this sub as part of the 2000i surround sound package. It sounds so much better than my last sub with crisp bangs and explosions in action blue rays and subtle fill in during quieter action. I am very pleased with the sub and the helpfulness of the Nottingham store.
The only downside is the odd shape which is harder to place aesthetically when the wife is not as keen on black boxes around the house.

Rated 5 out of 5 by haarp So pleased that I bought two!
I bought one of these to compare to MRW10. I instantly liked the 2070si much more, due to (at least to my ears) more accurate and controlled bass. I was so pleased with the one I bought that I went and bought another two days later to make a 5.2 system. Just tried it out with the beach scene of Private Ryan. Wow! Much prefer these to the MRW10, which sounds rather flabby by comparison. Some may hate the design, as they are VERY deep for a sub (indeed for ANY speaker), but I really like it. So if WAF is a concern, you may wish to look elsewhere. But if decent sound, at a very good price is your concern, then give one (or two!) a go.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Brindleness Completed my set
I've just added this to my all round Q Acoustics 2000 series 5.1 set up with a Yamaha RXV677 amp and it packs a bit of a wallop. I only live in a small flat with wooden floors and it vibrates through the universe. I watched Spectre with it the other night and I thought my living room was going to disintegrate. I've set it up at sensible levels with a sensible crossover and it still kicks hard. Sounds excellent with music as well as film. Highly recommend.

I have two of these now as part of my home cinema setup.
Awesome bass I think you would pushed to beat for the price.
They are rather large so make sure you have room for them if you have limited space.

The last of my purchases to complete my 5.1 system, which it complements perfectly. Complete smooth integration of sound.
Q Acoustics speakers are a fantastic product & the total system
price at this time (Jan 2016) is brilliant.
