Denon have a long tradition in the analogue audio business that stretches back decades. Their turntables and cartridges have a cult following, especially in The Far East.
With such experience, then, it's great to see Denon making a comeback in the UK turntable market with their DP-200USB. As the name suggests, the Denon DP200USB features a USB socket. In itself, this isn't so unusual, but the software behind it is what makes the DP200 such a winner. Built-in software converts the analogue sound from your records to digital - allowing you to store albums on USB sticks! From here you can simply plug the USB stick in to any audio device, computer or even car audio and listen to your treasured vinyl wherever you want. Of course, the USB format is also easy to download from to your PC hard drive or MP3 player.
What makes this Denon USB turntable even better is the Trans Music Manager. This clever piece of software detects silences between songs and automatically divides the tracks for you. Taking this one stage further, you can use Gracenote music ID server to obtain full track information.
Clever electronic wizardry aside, the Denon DP-200 is a great everyday turntable. With a built-in phono stage, it can be connected into any hi-fi system with a spare line-level input. It's also fully automatic meaning that all you have do is select the speed and record size and the let the DP-200USB do the rest.
As you'd expect from this highly respected audio brand, this Denon turntable is well made. A diecast aluminium platter is included for high inertial mass and stable rotation.
Bring your vinyl into the Digital age with the Denon DP-200USB.
