With LED backlighting and MCI100 scanning, the LG 32LN540V offers a quality picture at a great price.

GREAT PICTURE QUALITY WITH LED AND 100HZ MCI PROCESSING

Whatever you watch, the 32LN540V offers a top performance. The LED backlighting offers deeper blacks and greatly improved contrast over conventional LCD TVs. As well as the bright, detailed and natural picture quality, the LG 32LN540V offers smooth motion. Thanks to 100Hz MCI (Motion Clarity Index) processing, images are sharper and have less blur with fast moving action scenes.

CRISP SOUND QUALITY

Boosting the sound quality, you'll find LG's Virtual Surround processing for a more enveloping sound quality to match the picture. There are also six other sound modes and three position modes for precise adjustment. LG's popular Clear Voice II is on hand to help out with "busy" and congested soundtracks where it can sometimes be tricky to make out dialogue. While it's certainly no match for a separate AV system, the onboard system is better than you might expect.

GOOD RANGE OF CONNECTIONS

In terms of connections, the 540V range comes with all the basics covered. Twin HDMI sockets are provided, with one of them able to accept MHL. MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) allows you to link up compatible smartphones or tablets and stream video via HDMI. In addition to the twin HDMIs, there is also a USB socket. This lets you connect up a media device and view photos or video, or playback music through the TV's speakers.

For a simple but high quality TV, the LG 32LN540V gets the basics right and offers fantastic value for money.

Rated 4.8 out of 5áby 4 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 Very great value full 1080p HD TV The LG32LN540V is a great model, so far its going very well. The tv itself goes up to 1080p (full hd) which is great for getting the most out of your blu-rays and next generation consoles for visuals. The picture itself is crisp, clean images, good variation for adjusting the colour of the images and eco setting is decent, it varies the led backlight from 'off- min - medium - maximum' to lower its energy consumption (which I'd recommend). This also has a built-in Freeview HD tuner with up to 6 HD channels which is great also standard Freeview channels are included too. Two HDMI ports is great for me, one for console, and one for DVD player and so on but would love for it to have one more HDMI port though. My main issue is that this 100hz MCI refresh rate mentioned, I cannot find anything in the options on the tv, but other than that this is great quality if you don't want many bells and whistles of more expensive televisions, a bargain for just under ú250.00. 04 May 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby A very good package Easy to set up once the inputs button has been found, ( using a Humax Freesat HD box). I was surprised to find a direct satellite input which works without the Freesat box, no programme guide though. Overall very pleased with the TV. 03 December 2013
Rated 5 out of 5áby Excellent TV with more features than expected! Very impressed with the Image quality, and for it's type the sound quality too. The Freeview set-up was completely painless, once I'd turned on the aerial pass-through on the YouView box. Very surprised to find a Satellite connector on it, and once connected it all tuned fine. It doesn't arrange the channels at all, but does allow the channels to be re-arranged by hand, took some time to set them up, once done fills in a few gaps in the Freeview line up for us with Film4+1 and some childrens channels, that made me very popular! 19 July 2013
Rated 5 out of 5áby ITS ARRIVED Well it arrived one before planned delivery - no problem and emails to track its progress - not had time to install it but it's LG so will undoubtedly fine - like our other 2 TV's - and " DVD players are in various parts of the UK 10 June 2013
