Using a pin-sharp LED backlit screen, the LG M1931D offers a superior portable experience.

HIGH CONTRAST LED PANEL FOR BRILLIANT IMAGES

LED backlighting gives the LG M1931D a simply stunning picture quality that's miles ahead of its rivals. With a dynamic contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1, this 19 inch LED TV is many times better than most of its rivals and has the detail and realism to show for it. The result is images that, when combined with HD definition, are incredibly realistic. Added to the great realism is a fast response. With a response time of just 5ms, the M1931D offers smooth, responsive motion, making it ideal for gaming as well as TV.

CRISP AND SPACIOUS SOUND

For a small and extremely thin TV, the LG's built-in sound system might surprise you. Using an invisible speaker system and LG's Infinite Sound, the M1931D sounds crisp and spacious for such a compact TV.

FULLY CONNECTED

In terms of connections, the M1931D is pretty impressive for its class. For digital sources there's an HDMI socket on hand. In addition to this, the M1931D boasts SCART and component connections for your analogue sources. The USB socket is extremely useful for plugging in digital media devices and playing back music and pictures on your TV. Furthermore, the USB socket also accepts video formats, meaning that you can playback movies using the socket, too. Ensuring that this TV is also ideal as a monitor, the M1931D also comes with a PC input - making it ideal as a dual purpose TV/monitor.

LED quality in a compact and top value portable TV: the LG M1913D is a classic no-brainer.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect for the kitchen........ I wanted a new small 16:9 tv for the kitchen (no more than 15 inches tall on its stand) and I found this at a local store in Brighton three days ago - perfect! I have identical FreeviewHD receivers in the lounge, bedroom and kitchen and this tv probably gives the best picture quality of all (it is my only LED tv so far). The picture is very good indeed (I prefer 1080i for broadcast tv): sound volume can be a little low for music but quite adequate for normal viewing of sport, news, documentaries etc. Styling is clean and uncluttered and connectivity excellent - USB an unexpected bonus. A good choice for the discerning viewer unable or unwilling to leave the kitchen............ 16 February 2013
