Featuring Cinema 3D, Smart TV and a premium slimline frame, the LG TM2792S matches its bigger brothers in all but screen size!

3D FROM A COMPACT TV

With a TV of this size, it's possible to have 3DTV in the smallest of rooms, bedrooms, kitchen or even as a computer monitor. Using LG's renowned, passive, cinema TV, the TM2792S has many benefits over other 3D TVs. For a start, passive 3D TV is considered more comfortable to watch with no flicker - this has been certified by TUV and Intertek. Flicker-free viewing means no more dizziness, nausea, or discomfort. Other technical advantages include a wider viewing angle and brighter images. Then there's the cost and convenience consideration to take into account. The glasses are much cheaper and also considerably lighter to wear. The lack of batteries onboard also means they don't have to be recharged. Of course, being passive doesn't in any way affect the immersive experience of 3D TV. You still get the vivid, projecting images and the reach-in depth that appears to make the screen "disappear". The LG TM2792S also features 2D to 3D conversion. Simply put, this means that any source can be viewed in 3D! Whether you're watching in 3D or 2D, the TM2792S's screen is impressive. LED backlighting not only makes it slim but also gives exceptional brightness and a superb Contrast Ratio of 5,000, 000:1.

DUAL PLAY LETS YOU SEE THE WHOLE IMAGE

When used with optional glasses, the new Dual Play function lets you play a two-player game without having to split the screen! Special technology ensures each player sees only their part of the game on the entire screen.

CRISP SOUND QUALITY

In terms of sound quality, the TM2792S may not be as good as a separate soundbar or home cinema system but the Infinite Surround delivers crisp and spacious sound. The 2 x 7 watt power output is punchier than usual for a compact TV and ensures the sound won't get 'lost' in larger rooms. For personal listening or connecting a soundbar or hi-fi, there's also a headphone socket.

THE SMARTEST TV YET WITH MAGIC REMOTE WHEEL

At the heart of this TV is LG Smart TV. This combines many features and presents them in an attractive and easy to use way. The list of features is extensive but some of the highlights include an app store and on-board web browser. This makes it easy to catch up with popular services such as YouTube, Facebook or catch-up TV sensation, the BBC iPlayer. In addition to these easily accessible apps, you can also search out your favourite websites using the browser. Thanks to DLNA compatibility you can also stream music from your PC or network attached storage system. Smart TV also makes it possible to browse your choices whilst still keeping an eye on the current channel being displayed in the corner of the screen. For even faster and more direct control, there's the new Magic Remote Wheel. This wheel lets you easily scroll through web pages, just as you'd do with a computer mouse. As standard, the TM2792S also includes wi-fi connectivity built-in - no more dongles, just seamless connectivity. For all the smart new tech, the TM2792S hasn't forgotten about the more traditional sockets. Two HDMIs are partnered with triple USBs, SCART, component and RGB PC inputs for full compatibility with all your sources, new or old.

ULTRA-SLIM FRAME

With a new, super-slim frame, the TM2792S gives you edge to edge viewing with hardly any frame to distract you. There's also a new design of stand that gives edge and presence to the LG's design, making it stand out from the crowd.

For a compact TV without compromise, the LG TM2792S is the real deal.

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love everything about this Smart TV We use this TV in our bedroom & it's a perfect size, we've watched several films in 3D & the picture is perfect, the children even ended up in our room using their glasses from the cinema too, so no problem getting hold of glasses. All the smart features work well & the wifi internet conected without any problems, so we've watched a lot of catch up TV. We've also watched films off our USB stick, which was really handy. Overall the picture quality is great (after I fiddled with the setting a bit). Would buy again, which is always a good sign. 31 January 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by I have to say it really is a nice looking TV I?ve been looking for a TV for sometime to replace our old CRT TV, yes I don?t by TV?s very often that?s why I wanted to make sure the TV I got was the right one. The only problem was I wanted a sub 32? TV, getting a small TV that isn't just a cheap and cheerful telly proved elusive until I saw theTM2792S announced on the LG website. I bought it from morecomputers in December and I've been extremely pleased with it. Setting the wifi up was just a matter of typing in the key using the surprisingly handy magic motion remote. The apps I've mainly used Youtube and iPlayer work really well. The telly looks great either on or off. 3D works well and also works with the 3D glasses the kids have brought at the local cinema. I was worried about what the speakers would be like in such a thin TV but they were fine, just turn on Clear Voice II. I have to say it really is a nice looking TV stuffed full of features. 30 January 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Cant be mounted - just an expensive small TV Not only does it have no VESA mounting options, it has NO mounting options. Support line said it did before I bought now they say it doesnt say in the manual and hang up the phone - just wonderful !!! 28 January 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by No Netflix! Warning this set does not support Netflix in UK. I bought this Monitor for the bedroom. I was looking forward to using my Netflix subscription with the set but despite all the pictures of the set on the website shows a Netflix icon it doesn't support Netflix in the UK. I don't know why LG have taken the strange decision to not make it available for the UK model. Come on LG get Netflix on the UK set!!!! 04 January 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Almost great! This monitor/Tv is almost great. Although the screen is able to display 1080p, the Freeview tuner is only SD and does not pick up the HD channels. Also the set does not support Netflix despite the images of the device shows a Netflix icon. I did call their support to question this but wasn't given any support nor any indication if the set will eventually support Netflix. 04 January 2013
