See the most true-to-life picture in its class, with the HDR-equipped Panasonic TX58DX700B.

HDR - High Dynamic Range

Taking 4K UHD one stage further, the Panasonic TX-58DX700B is compatible with HDR (High Dynamic Range). This extends the range of colours for enhanced realism. It also delivers brighter whites and darker blacks, helping to give this TV stunning levels of contrast.

Local dimming for the best picture from all sources.
Equipped with Local Dimming, the Panasonic TX-58DX700B makes the most of any images - whatever the resolution. Whether 4K UHD, 1080p FHD or standard definition, Local Dimming adjusts the brightness of the screen by zones. This gives greatly improved contrast, as the black sections of the TV can be darker and the whites brighter.

4K 1400 Hz BMR for a super-crisp response
The Panasonic TX-58DX700B uses a 4K 1400 Hz BMR (Backlight Motion rate) panel for superbly crisp motion response. This means that when watching action movies or sport, the TX58DX700B has the speed and clarity to keep up with the action without motion blur.

Spacious sound
In addition to offering a superb picture quality, this Panasonic 58 inch TV also offers good sound quality too. The built-in 20W amplifier provides full-bodied sound, while VR-Audio True Surround produces a surround sound effect. There's both analogue (via headphones) and optical digital audio outputs, so it's easy to add a home cinema system or soundbar/base.

Effortless operation with my Home Screen 2 powered by Firefox OS and Voice Assistant
Highly rated by the reviewers, my Home Screen 2 offers an attractive and clear operating interface which is also easy to customise. By using clear, superimposed icons, it's easy to find the function you want. Better still, with just a few clicks you can get your favourite apps, web pages or even TV channels to appear on your own customised Homepage. With clarity and easy customisation, this is how Smart TV should be! Voice Assistant means you simply have to speak into the controller to bring up content and search results.

Integrate your entertainment
When it comes to smart TV flexibility, the TX58DX700B has all the features you need. A wide range of web apps are complimented by a full web browser. DLNA certified streaming makes it easy to transfer music and video files from your home computer, laptop or NAS drive to the TV. Also standard is Swipe and Share functionality. Swipe and share lets you use the Panasonic VIERA app for smartphone media sharing. By using the app on your smartphone or tablet you can easily stream pictures, 4K videos and music straight to the TV - no cables required.

Freeview Play for easy access to catch-up TV
The Panasonic TX58DX700B features Freeview Play. This combines catch-up TV, on-demand services and live television to make it easy to watch what you want, when you want. It's free from subscription and compatible with existing broadband services, while BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, All 4 and Demand 5 are available without having to open specific apps, giving effortless scroll-back TV (requires broadband Internet connection with a minimum speed of 2Mbps).

With its generous screen and HDR resolution, 4K TV has never looked so good at this price.

PANASONIC VIERA TX58DX700B is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 34.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb service;great TV I was originally going to buy another TV.But,after talking to the salesguy at the Liverpool store,it became clear that this was the TV to suit my needs and budget. This is a "LOT" of TV for the money. It was easy to set up.Navigation is a doddle. And there was a great picture straight away with the default settings. The only adjustment that I made was to change the picture setting from standard to dynamic. The sound is OK-ish.I connected it to my Hi-Fi.This had to be done by going out of the headphone socket.Would have been nice to have RCA out jacks. I'll be going back to Richer Liverpool for a soundbar very soon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So easy to use The panasonic 58 inch tv is brilliant. The picture & sound quality is fantastic.i would highly recommend this product.we had all intentions of buying a curved tv but after speaking with the sales assistant -who was very knowledgeable I may add-he sold us on this Panasonic tv and were so glad he did!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's Huge ! We replaced a 47" Phillips TV, that had a great picture, especially with the ambi-light function. Unfortunately, no other TV has ambi-light technology, so we decided to get a bigger screen to compensate. Jim at The Romford store was super helpful and guided us to a choice between a Sony or this Panasonic. We plumped for the Panasonic, based on the quality of the picture and it was very much the right one. The picture is excellent and set up was simple. The only word of warning is that the difference from 47" to 58" is substantial and takes a few days to get used to. Because of the size difference, it's preferable to watch on HD channels, as SD can look a little grainy. We also had to adjust the lip sync manually, probably more reflective of our amp and speakers, rather than the TV. I'd always use Richer Sounds for the service and I can't question the product either.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a great quality and value 4K TV. This TV is a brilliant upgrade from our previous 8 year old Panasonic TV. Picture quality is exceptional. At 58" this TV is very acceptable for our 4.3 mtr x 6.8 mtr lounge. We used our previous panasonic surround sound system and the new combination is also brilliant. We had to adjust the blacklight but np. Could the shop assistant told us more? Well yes, cables now go to the side of the large TV's and therefore longer cables are required, also an optical cable is now used. Other than that we are thrilled.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great TV for the price Purchased the TV as I was on a budget and compared to my old Sharp Aquos TV purchased from Richer Sounds several years ago the quality is absolutely spot on. Read several reviews before making the purchase and up to now I have no complaints. Like most tv's the sound is not great but I just use a decent soundbar. As a non technical person regarding all the issues with light leakage etc etc would any normal person know any difference????? The picture is great very clear, great depth and colours and I guess it's down to personal taste and how much money you are willing to spend. I'm extremely happy with the purchase

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great buy for a large tv,and quaility product. Fantastic service from Richer Sounds ,very helpful on initial enquiry, and delivered as promised. I have mainly Panasonic products throughout the house and I am as pleased as punch with this purchase.
Date published: 2017-01-13
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use! Easy set up with on screen instructions. Logical way of accessing different features. Only criticism (minor but annoying) Netflix button on remote too easy to press as it's very close to the 'up' arrow! Otherwise great product. Bought from Cambridge store and must say thanks to Will (store manager) for great knowledge and advice!
