"A simply stunning screen that's engaging to watch and comfortable to use - this is a great TV." What Hi-Fi Sound & Vision magazine.

INFINITE BLACK ULTRA FILTER FOR THE HIGHEST CONTRAST RATIO

Thanks to Infinite Black Ultra contrast with the High Contrast Filter Pro, the TXP55VT65B doesn't just kick the opposition into touch but also greatly improves upon the lower Panasonic plasma TVs. These advanced filters not only deepen the blacks but are also subtle enough to offer improved detail that, when combined with the NeoPlasma black 3000 panel, offers sensational realism.

THE SMOOTHEST MOTION EVER THANKS TO 3000HZ FOCUSED FIELD DRIVE

Panasonic's FFD (Focused Field Drive) technology produces sharper images during fast moving motion. This works by decreasing the period of each light emission and gives the TXP55VT65 perhaps the smoothest motion yet to be seen on a plasma TV.

THX CERTIFIED FOR GUARANTEED PICTURE BRILLIANCE

If you need further assurance that the TXP55VT65 has one of the very best video performances in its class you need look no further than the THX certification. THX are a separate body, connected to Lucas films, who test and monitor video and audio performance. Simply put, in order for a TV to be THX certified, the performance has to be exceptionally good in a whole raft of areas. The Panasonic TX-P55VT65 is just such a TV. If you want to take it further still and get the very best picture possible, advanced isf mode gives TV experts and AV installers the opportunity to adjust the settings to perfectly match the room environment.

SUPERIOR SOUND

Panasonic have worked hard to improve the sound quality of their latest flat screen TVs. Although still not a match for a soundbar or separate home cinema system, the sound quality is excellent by TV standards. With a 2.1 sound system, the TXP55VT65 uses a separate subwoofer to provide a fuller and richer sound. Added to this, VR-Audio Pro Stage 2.1 creates a spacious and 'open' sound quality.

EFFORTLESS CONTROL WITH TOUCHPAD AND VOICE GUIDANCE

Although extremely well-equipped, controlling the VT65b range is easier than ever. The touchpad remote makes navigating through apps and web pages as simple as using a smartphone or tablet. Taking this one stage further, by simply saying a keyword into the controller, brings up search results. The results are both shown on screen and voiced by the TV itself.

PANASONIC TOUCH PEN FOR EFFORTLESS EDITING

New to this year's Panasonic VT plasma range is the Panasonic Touch Pen. This lets you draw directly on to the TV screen that, for example, lets you write over photos shown on the screen. Once edited, the photos can be sent back to another device and uploaded to a social media site. It can also be used for simple art work or even game play.

SWIPE AND SHARE PLUS MY HOME SCREEN

Also new to this year's VT65 range is Swipe and Share and My Home Screen functionality. Swipe and share lets you use the Panasonic VIERA 2 app for smartphone media sharing. By using the app on your smartphone or tablet you can easily stream pictures, videos and music straight to the TV - no cables required! My home screen allows different users to personalise the home screen as they choose, for a bespoke user experience.

COMPREHENSIVE NETWORKING WITH BUILT-IN WI-FI

When it comes to connecting up, the TXP55VT65B is every bit as good as you'd expect from a Panasonic. Featuring both Freeview HD and freesat HD tuners, the TX-P55VT65b is ideal for making the most of High Definition TV. VIERA Connect brings together a host of features that make this much more than 'just' a TV. With the VT65B range you can stream video, photos and music from another source, such as your PC, via DLNA. Alternatively, use the Application-based browser to view shopping based functions, social media Apps and catch-up TV/film channels. As before, there's also a full web browser. As an added bonus, the new VIERA 2 app allows your smartphone or tablet controller to display a full keyboard. Use one of the three USB or the SD card inputs and enjoy music from many different file types via the dedicated media player. With such a comprehensive networking ability, it's good to see that the TXP55VT65B gives you the choice of connecting by either Ethernet or built-in wi-fi - no extra dongle required.

SLEEK GOOD LOOKS

With its narrow bezel and metal finishing, the Panasonic TXP55VT65b looks every bit as good as it performs. The matching pedestal stand also incorporates a new 'V' design support that makes the TV look even more elegant and distinguished.

Smart new looks, smart new control and an even more impressive picture quality - Panasonic's plasmas have just got better!
