Combining LED backlighting and Digital Crystal Clear technology, the Philips 22PFL3206 produces a superb picture quality.

LED MEETS DCC

Thanks to LED backlighting, the 22PFL3206 produces greatly enhanced images with far deeper blacks than typical LCD TVs and more vibrant colours. For proof of this you need look no further than the contrast ratio of 100,000:1. The Digital Crystal Clear (DCC) display adjusts and optimises picture quality to optimum contrast, colour and sharpness levels. It gives a detailed picture with depth and realism that few other portable 22 inch TVs can match. Against the Philips, other budget TVs appear bleached and washed out looking.

CLASS LEADING SOUND QUALITY

In terms of sound quality, the 22PFL3206 is also ahead of its rivals. Incredible Surround sound phases the audio to give the impression of a wider sound stage between the two speakers for a more spacious sound. Clear Sound helps improve vocal clarity. There's also an equaliser to get the right balance of sound in your room and Auto Volume Leveller to avoid sharp differences in program volumes. Finally, should you want to plug the TV in to an AV system you'll find a coaxial digital output to give the best connection possible.

WELL CONNECTED

In terms of other connections, everything you're likely to need from a portable TV is included. An HDMI socket appears on the back of the unit for easy connection of an HD source, such as a Blu-ray player or TV media box. Added to this you'll find a Component input, for Wii, SCART socket and a handy USB connection for plugging in media devices such as your digital camera.

For the complete package, the Philips 22PFL3206 brings genuine quality to the portable TV market.
