Turn your HD TV into a Smart TV with the LG ST600.
It might be small, but this LG box of tricks packs an awful lot in and will transform your TV viewing. So, what will it do? Well, in a nutshell it offers all the features found in current top-of-the-range networking TVs, within a neat add-on box.
Simply connect it to your TV by HDMI and then to your home network via Ethernet or integrated Wi-Fi and you're off. And what a journey to be off on! First off, the LG ST600 is DLNA complaint. This means you can stream a massive range of video, music and photo files from other DLNA sources attached to the network. Got some films stored on your laptop or PC? Then stream them onto your TV via the ST600
Next up is the LG Smart TV browser. Take your pick from searching the web, as you would do on your PC or use one of the many LG apps that have been carefully chosen to work smoothly with the ST600. You'll particularly enjoy access to Video On Demand applications such as YouTube and the BBC iPlayer. There are also quick access apps to music, news and weather info.
In addition to streaming and web access, the ST600 also provides a USB socket. The USB host is compatible with many video, music and photo files and is therefore ideal for plugging in your digital media device and watching photos and videos on the big screen.
All this content provision is clearly displayed and accessed thanks to the intuitive LG Smart TV. Just as with their range-topping TVs, the ST600 lays out all the Smart TV content on an easy to navigate GUI (Graphical User Interface). The box itself is pretty small, too, meaning that it can easily be tucked away without drawing attention to itself.
For Smart TV the LG way, the ST600 might just be the best of the lot.
