Plug the USB transmitter into your laptop, PC or Mac and stream the audio output, wirelessly, to the matching DAC1. The DAC1 is then connected to your hi-fi via conventional interconnects. With a direct and uncompressed wireless connection there's no pairing or joining of a network to be done and nor will it affect the speed of your home wi-fi hub as this signal is completely independent. With a potential maximum range of 40m, the system is also a lot more flexible than other wireless systems.

Secondly, unlike other wireless transmission systems such as Bluetooth, the DAC1 is uncompressed and able to stream at up to CD quality - 16bit/48kHz. Then there's the quality of the DAC itself. As you'd expect from NAD, the DAC1 uses premium quality Burr Brown OP Amps and 24/192 DACs for the highest quality digital conversion. With a coaxial digital input also provided, you can even use the DAC to improve the sound of other component s, such as a CD or DVD player.
