For a larger than average portable TV with built-in DVD player, check out the Sharp LC24DV510K.

At 24 inches, the Sharp is a little bigger than the average portable TV. It makes it ideal for where a 19 or 22 inch combi TV just isn't quite big enough. When it comes to picture quality, this Sharp has got what it takes to match much bigger and more expensive TVs. First off, this portable Sharp TV has an edge lit LED backlight display. LED backlighting gives a brighter picture and exceptional contrast levels. Added to this, the LC24DV510K also boasts Full 1080p HD resolution, making it ideal for use with Full HD gaming machines or Blu-ray films. As early innovators of LCD TVs, Sharp have more experience than most. With its brilliant realism, smooth motion and impressive clarity it doesn't take long to see that the LC24DV510K comes from a highly experienced manufacturer.

In addition to the built-in DVD player, the LC24DV510K comes with a versatile USB socket. Not only will this let you playback video, audio and photos but its two-way capability allows you to record, too. Simply connect up a suitable hard drive and you can use it like a PVR (Personal Video Recorder) to record all your favourite TV programs. In addition to this, you'll also find an HDMI socket that's perfect for connecting a Blu-ray player or HD games console. SCART, component and a PC socket are also included. For private listening there's also a headphone socket. Finally, a coaxial digital output lets you plug the TV into a digital audio system for enhanced sound.

Despite having a DVD player built-in, the Sharp LC24DV510K is just 36mm thick: that's about half the depth of conventional LCD TVs without a DVD player. Finished in deep gloss black with subtle clear accents, the LC24DV510K tops the style stakes, too.

Built-in DVD player, 24 inch, 1080p, LED screen and two-way USB socket - the Sharp LC24DV501K has got the lot for less.
