The Cambridge Audio iD50 is a premium quality iPod dock that's been designed to get the most from your iPod. Whilst handy to playback and charge your iPod, most iPod docks don't actually enhance the sound quality. The Cambridge iD50 is different. Using Quasi differential noise cancelling technology and Audiophile quality buffered outputs, the iD50 will enhance the sound of your stored music. Music is clearer and more precise than ordinary iPod docks.
The Cambridge Audio iD50 also enables you to watch video content stored on your iPod, on your TV. A choice of composite or S-video connections let you output the video signal and also supply the feed to an onscreen display. As you'd expect, the iD50 is compatible with most Cambridge Audio Navigator remote controls and also comes with its own comprehensive remote.
The classic black finish has been designed to match not just the latest Classic iPods, put also the Cambridge Azur hi-fi range.
To give your stored music collection an extra lift at home, the Cambridge Audio iD50 sounds so good, it could leave your CDs gathering dust!

| Works With iPhone | The Works with iPhone logo is an older version of the Made for iPhone logo. Essentially it still means that the product has been designed to work with an iPhone without interference. |

"Quasi-differential noise cancelling makes this iPod dock one of the best. The Cambridge Audio iD50 has some fancy audio circuitry to improve your iPod audio. It is quite comprehensively featured, but Cambridge makes particular play of its audio abilities, which rely on 'quasi differential noise cancelling' circuits and audiophile-grade output buffers. Bucking preconceptions, this dock really brought out the best in our iPod and produced sound that we can honestly say deserves the term 'hi-fi'. More than with any other dock we've tried, the Audio iD50 can extract music from the diminutive players and make it bloom. There's real bass extension with very impressive grip and definition too, while midrange and treble are open and detailed. Images are well spaced out and have good stability; maybe not quite on a par with a good CD player, but not so very far behind. The overall presentation has poise, but also plenty of bite and attack when needed. Lest you think we're imagining things, we also measured the performance and got figures that wouldn't disgrace any CD player." - www.techradar.com |
