AN INTRODUCTION TO THE BIRMINGHAM STORE AND ITS STAFF

Hi and welcome to Richer Sounds Birmingham!

Richer Sounds Birmingham was the third store to open, way back in 1985, and it lives about 5 minutes away from New Street station, underneath the Holiday Inn on Smallbrook Queensway. After undergoing a (rather dramatic) refit, our store now boldly displays a mighty 30+ flat screen LCD/Plasma TVs, in addition to our extensive range of hi-fi and home cinema equipment. With over 60 years of combined experience, we like to think that we’re a knowledgeable, confident, and extremely helpful bunch of folk.

Need Directions?
We are on the Smallbrook Queensway Road, which is the main road to the Bull Ring Shopping Centre and New Street Train Station. There are two car parks within a minutes walk (turn left at the traffic lights after passing the store).

If you are coming by train, we are about five minutes walk from New Street Train Station.

Home Delivery
Our store also has an excellent working relationship with one of the major private taxi firms in Brum, or we can usually get a courier to take your purchases home at a competitive price or one of our colleagues will help you to the taxi. Another benefit of shopping at the Birmingham store is our home delivery service, this allows us to deliver your eagerly awaited goods straight to your door without you lifting a finger on a day suitable to you. Please do not hesitate to ask one of the colleagues about this service.

Installations
Finally if you have got your goods home and you want a professional at home installation we can provide you with an AV installer who can carry out the work at a reasonable rate. From fitting flat panel TV’s to your wall or setting up multi award winning multi room systems such as Sonos or Cambridge Audio’s own Incognito System. Once again all you need to do is ask the colleague when making your purchase.

Tim, Store Manager
Tim's colossal 20 years of hi-fi experience have moulded him into the most formidable and conversant salesman the Midlands have yet produced. Feared by some, respected by all, Tim's crowning achievement to date is constructing the legendary workforce currently running his formidable Birmingham store. Anonymous sources claim he also enjoys the odd spot of Formula 1 racing, too.
Garry, Deputy Manager
When not masterminding his latest scheme to take over the world, Garry enjoys sports, movies, and of course complaining how music isn't as good as it used to be. Another hi-fi salesman extraordinaire, and Birmingham's second member of the 20-year service club, Garry lives in a highly confidential location situated somewhere between our store and the local boozer.
Sam, Sales Consultant
When not found ripping up a nightclub near you, Sam's lethal personality helps stimulate the Birmingham store's rather legendary morale. More fun than a barrel of monkeys, better-looking than Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie combined, and, oh, what was that, Sam? You support which local football team?! Good heavens, even the mighty Sam has his weaknesses.
Bernie, Sales Consultant
Bernie has bags of knowledge and will happily talk for hours on end on any subject that takes your fancy. If given half the chance he'll also amaze people with his ability to divide by zero!
