AN INTRODUCTION TO THE CHESTER STORE AND ITS STAFF

Hi and welcome to Richer Sounds Chester!

Having first opened our doors in November 2001 we are here to serve all you good people from just down the road to those travelling from the far reaches of Wales!
Customer service is our companies’ main goal and we hope to make your visit an enjoyable one whether you are coming in for a far out Hi-Fi system or just a blank CD!
We are one of the most diverse and specialist teams in our company and you can trust us to steer you straight on the obtaining the best deal for you and your Family.
We have been trading at this site for over 8 years in order to keep the costs down and pass those savings onto you.

Directions:
We are located only a minutes walk from Chester station. To get to the store from the station, exit the station and follow the road to your right. It will bend round to the left leading you to a set of traffic lights from where you will see our shop on the other side of the junction – Simple!
From the city centre follow Frodsham Street (just past Tesco’s) until you come to the roundabout with Mecca Bingo to your right. Cross the roundabout via the subway and follow Hoole way for 300yds where you will find our store conveniently nestled next door to Domino’s Pizza (perfect if all our bargains make you hungry!).

In-Store Demonstrations:
This store has a wide range of flat screens on demonstrations from top manufacturers such as Pioneer, Panasonic, Samsung, Toshiba, Philips and LG all playing the latest blockbusters on Blu-ray. We only ask you bring yourself and a large bag of popcorn for sharing with our staff!
Please also ask one of our sales colleagues to demonstrate the importance of sound with one of our wired up home cinema/ HIFI systems if you are looking to possibly purchase a Flat screen TV.
Sound is probably more important than picture (listen to a TV without sound and you have little idea what’s going on) and you will sometimes find that wafer thin flat panel TV’s do struggle from reproducing good quality sound. This is due to the size of speakers integrated into these aesthetically pleasing TV sets.

Loading bay:
For customers who want to pick up their goods using a private vehicle, the street round the back of the store is your best bet although please don’t park here if you’re coming for a browse as the double yellow line fairy is sure to pounce! Instead we do offer to pay for your parking in the car park just the other side of the shop (or even better – It’s FREE after 3pm!)

Home Delivery:
Our store also has an excellent working relationship with one of the major private taxi firms in Chester and can usually get a courier to take your purchases home at a competitive price. Another benefit of shopping at the Chester store is our home delivery service. The home delivery service either allows the store to deliver your eagerly anticipated goods straight to the door without you lifting a finger on a day suitable to you. Please do not hesitate to ask one of the colleagues about the service.

Installation:
Finally if you have got your goods home and you want a professional at home installation we can provide an AV installer who can carry out the work at a reasonable rate. From fitting plasma on to the wall to setting up multi award winning multi-room systems such as Sonos or Cambridge Audio’s Incognito. Once again all you need to do is ask the colleague when making your purchase.

Jan, Store Manager
Jan, Jan, the man who can! Born on a different cloud in the belated, slightly confused Summer of Love 1979. Jan enjoys singing in his spare time, having fronted such popular bands as "Pink Floyd", "Led Zeppelin", and, more recently newcomers "The Rolling Stones". Jan is happy to listen and help anyone, anywhere! Apparently he eats hi-fi magazines, he says they taste good and the knowledge hits him quicker! Ask him anything, he'll love you for it!
Joel, Deputy Manager
It is common folklore that Joel's hair is woven from that of a unicorn and that a single strand could lift three Mini's at a time! This isn't much use in his chosen field, but luckily it isn't needed. Keen to help out whatever the circumstance, Joel has quickly warmed himself to the hearts of his adoring public with a love of HUGE Plasma & LCD screens & DVD playing goodness.
James, Sales Advisor
Chasing birds and butterflies into our world, James had had enough and wanted more. We know that having James here is best for everyone in the hope of quenching his thirst for customer service. Having a plethora of knowledge on all that is subwoofers and blu-ray, come and bend his ear. A keen high flyer (literally), James is the man for a bargain. He makes a fine cuppa too! NOTE: No two James' are the same, celebrity voice impersonated.

Our shiny new recruit, Simon was pulled straight from the Vue cinema to bring you the best in HOME cinema! Rumour has it he was built in a secret multi-media laboratory, his veins are gold plated HDMI cables and every night he plugs into a surge protector so his fountain of knowledge is kept well and truly safe. You've heard of the T1000 well say hello to the Si2000!

This handsome chap has joined the team at Chester and is literally exploding with the excitement of bringing high fidelity to the masses. Unbeknown to some, Martin actually invented the funky chicken dance and was a leading pioneer of the moonwalk. He loves his music so much that if you are coming to us for a coffee and a chat, bring some CDs or your MP3 and he will show you the delights of just how good your music can be. In any event this guy will make your visit a pleasure and leave you smiling!

Not your common Cestrian (that's Chester folk to you!), this little Cockney diamond has an ear for good sound and the eye for a bargain so rest assured you will be taken care of. (oh and he used to run a coffee shop so be sure to ask him for one).
