Hi and welcome to Richer Sounds Hanley!

Our new store, opened in 2008 is one of the jewels in the Richer Sounds crown, boasting it’s own car park, a large showroom, and a lovely demo room with an astonishingly comfortable sofa. Aside from our Aladdin’s Cave of televisions, we’re the only specialist hi-fi and home cinema store in the city, and we’d love it if you called in for a chat. Find us on Town Road, Hanley, 5 minutes down the road from our old store (over the bridge towards Birches Head and Hanley forest park).

Gareth, Store Manager
Our illustrious leader is a fiddle playing, football obsessed, almanac of obscure music. If you've never heard of it, (and probably don't wish to), Gareth will attempt to show you the error of your ways. Eight years in the industry lend credibility to his ramblings: let his finely honed (& unusually small) ears, guide you to the perfect purchase.
Jackie, Deputy Manager
Our longest serving team member and unofficial gaffer. When Jackie says jump, everyone asks, "How high?" Jackie has a passion for antiques and collectables, and a seriously good eye for a bargain. Who better to come to for the best deal in town?
Sean, Sales Advisor
Having lost the lovely, and bi-lingual Hayley, to those fiends at the Brighton store, we’ve attempted to fill the void with Sean; a man so techno-savvy, so computer-literate, so darn digital, that he almost speaks binary. Action-man Alex likes nothing better than climbing up walls, running up hills, somersaulting on a bmx, or swimming across an icy river in his pants. Each to their own I say, not least since Al applies the same determination to learning all there is to know about the world of hi-fi and home cinema. Nathan, Sales Advisor
Nathan returns to the fold for his 2nd spell, after a few years in the hi-fi wilderness. Perhaps the break was just what he needed though, because nobody does customer service like Nath. As chilled as a Siberian winter, and with 5 years experience behind him, Nathan will take the stress out of your shopping experience.
Tom, Stockroom Controller
Man about town Tommy is too cool for school, although not literally, as he's currently doing his A-levels. When he's not studying you'll find him on the football pitch (he's the classy centre-half with the Alice band), or hard at work in our stockroom. When he brings your new purchase to your car, it's service with style, and a smile!
