  Adam, Store Manager

  Adam likes jumping out of planes and off massive cliffs. Of course, none of this compares to the thrill of running the Croydon branch of Richer Sounds! He is a lover of well mastered recordings and has plenty of studio experience under his belt. A veteran with over 10 years in the company, customer service is Adam's number one priority. He is an expert in every field across the full spectrum of audio visual products, including: flat panel display's (LED, LCD and Plasma); hi-fi; essentials (cables, wall brackets, headphones etc.) and studio gear; as well as audio synthesis and data sonification methods. He will be more than happy to share his knowledge with you when you drop in.

  Paul, Deputy Manager

  Paul is one of the longest serving members of the Croydon team with over 10 years experience in Richer Sounds and we're proud of his excellent customer service record. He is knowledgeable in all things visual and hi-fi related which is only matched by his love of mountain bikes and ridiculous haircuts. Come and see Paul for your multi-channel / stereo systems, flat screen or accessories and he'll make sure you have a system to cater for all your needs - or just come down and watch his latest mountain biking DVD and listen to him wax lyrical about how he could have been great if he had youth, talent or skill on his side.

  Matt, Sales Consultant

  Matt is exceptionally well-travelled throughout the Richer world, having worked at a variety of branches during his 6 year tenure with us. He's finally left his nomadic ways behind him and decided to settle in Croydon - good news for everyone, especially his ex-fiance! He's picked up plenty of know-how when it comes to hi-fi, home cinemas and accessories and he looks forward to talking to you in person with his no-nonsense, open approach.

  Gary, Sales Consultant

  Gary has extreme but welcome levels of CDO, which is the same as OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) but in alphabetical order. Another of our experienced colleagues in his 5th year and with an impeccable customer service record, Gary also has experience in car audio systems. He will offer you sound advice on cables, DAB and internet radio, iPod docks or universal remote controls as well as hi-fi and large flat screen TVs. Come in and talk to him to gain some expert knowledge.

  Richard, Sales Consultant

  Richard loves to chat about anything with anyone, whether it's on Facebook, MySpace, Twitter or even the real world. Hot topics include cars, films, stamps, online avatar-based gaming or any of the quality gear you've come to us to look at. A good indicator of his attention to detail is his precision-crafted beard. He has been in the business for over 6 years and compensates for his modest stature with his vast knowledge of audio-visual systems and accessories.

  Andy, Sales Consultant

  Andy has worked in the AV industry for over 20 years, including a spell at Dolby Laboratories and several years of installation experience, which is why we consider him the guru. He'll be more than happy to show you examples of hi-fi gear which rival the cost of your house but will also be able to help you out with a more sensible system, with cables that cost less than your car.

  If Simon were any more laid back he'd be horizontal. You'll find his relaxed manner very soothing and he brings an element of calm to our sometimes hectic shop. He is very knowledgeable on all our home cinema, hi-fi and extras and has an excellent customer service record across his 6 years of experience so come in and speak to him when you've had a stressful day.

  Well-mannered Josh is the shortest-serving member of our team, although when our managers started working for the company he was still in primary school! We insist you give him a call; he'll be happy to give you directions, answer any of your technical enquiries or check stock then reserve an item for you to come and collect later, no obligation, no deposit required.

  Dan, Stockroom Controller / Home Installation

  Daniel is our long serving (suffering) runner. A gentleman of auburn persuasion, he likes to stay out of the sun by keeping our stock room pristine but he will also be the man loading products into your car and carrying out our basic local installations. Approaching 10 years of service Dan is savvy on wiring, calibrating and installing home cinema, TV and stereo systems.

  Dexter, Stockroom Controller / Marketing

  Dex's CV covers various roles in the music sector where he has gained an appreciation of a wide scope of musical styles, ranging from the sublime to the ridiculous. As well as a vast knowledge of instruments and studio gear he knows plenty about the AV side too. You may catch him on the phone every now then, when he will be happy to reserve items for you to make sure they're still available when you come in to collect them, as well as assist with directions and technical enquiries about the quality gear or accessories you require.
