AN INTRODUCTION TO THE CROYDON STORE AND ITS STAFF

Hi and welcome to Richer Sounds Croydon!

The store is located very near South Croydon train station and bus garage so there are plenty of ways to get here:

By bus…
The 60, 119, 166, 312, 405, 407, 455, 466 and 468 all stop outside or near the store. From South Croydon the bus stop is opposite Cycle King store all you need to do is leave the bus, turn right walk to the Barclays bank on the corner to see us. From Central croydon the bus stop is on the same side of the road and roughly 12 meters from the 403 and 412 bus stops, and 20 metres from the stop for all other relevent buses.

By train…
regular trains run from London, Redhill, Reigate and Caterham to South Croydon train station

To find our store exit the station via the Croham Road exit and turn right down the hill, at the roundabout take the second exit and countinue until you see the Swan and Sugar loaf pub on your left. We are on the right hand side, past Ledbury Road. In total it's about a five minute walk.

By bicycle…
Feel free to bring your bike into the shop, that way we know no-one’s going to run off with it!

Parking
Parking can be found adjacent to us on Ledbury road on the pay and display meters,
(Free parking on Sunday's), or at the large pay which is 100 metres away from us on the same side of the road. Remember we will pay for your parking!

At Richer Sounds in Croydon we pride ourselves mainly on our customer service and not just our technical expertise. We’ve done our best to create a warm, friendly atmosphere which we’re confident you’ll find enjoyable on your visit. MEET THE TEAM

Adam, Store Manager
Adam likes jumping out of planes and off massive cliffs. Of course, none of this compares to the thrill of running the Croydon branch of Richer Sounds! He loves his jazz/funk/fusion and drum 'n' bass and has experience of working in studios. A veteran in his eighth year of service, it's worth popping in to check out his haircut (it's different to the one pictured).
Paul, Deputy Manager
Paul is one of the longest serving members of the Croydon team with over ten years experience in Richer Sounds and is our most recognised member of staff. He has knowledge of all things visual and hi-fi related which is only matched by his love of mountain bikes and ridiculous haircuts. Come and see Paul for your multi-channel, stereo, flat screen or interconnects and he'll make sure you have a system to cater for all your needs, or just come down and watch his latest mountain biking dvd and listen to him wax lyrical about how he could have been great if he'd had the any talent, skill or youth on his side.
Andy, Sales Consultant
Andy has worked in the AV industry for about twenty years, including a period at Dolby Laboratories, which is why we consider him a guru. Just don't get on the wrong side of him (he's an ex-builder). He'll be more than happy to show you examples of hi-fi gear which cost more than your house.
Simon, Sales Consultant
Simon is our part-timer, a student who is a bit of an artist and hopes to receive his degree very soon, with which we wish him the best of luck. If he were any more laid back he'd be horizontal. You'll find his relaxed manner very soothing and he brings an element of calm to our sometimes hectic shop. He is very knowledgeable of all our products and has an excellent customer service record to date.
Matt, Sales Consultant
Matt has returned for a second round with us at Richer Sounds. Matt has been well travelled throughout the Richer world working at various branches during his tenure with us, picking up lots of hi-fi and visual knowledge throughout his journeys. Lucky for us that the soles on his shoes have worn through and his decided to leave his nomadic ways behind him and settle in Croydon. Good news for everyone!
Adrian, Sales Consultant
Adrian loves to chat about any thing with anyone, whether it being about cars, the local change in climate, plasma screens or even a spiritual conversation. He has been in the business for over 2 years and although he is small - "no small-isms here folks" - he compensates this with his vast knowledge and experience in the industry.
Dan, Stockroom Controller
Daniel is our long serving (suffering) runner. Daniel is the guy who keeps our stock pristine in the stock room, gets our lunch, loads products into your cars and carrries out our basic local installs. Approaching eight years of service Dan is pretty clued up on wiring, calibrating and installing home cinema, TV and stereo systems and he makes a mean cup of tea too.
