Welcome to Southgate, one of the newest members of the Richer Sounds stores, opened in November of 2008. With over 30 TV’s on our display and a team of expertly trained staff we provide all our customers with a high level of service and great deals which are second to none. And it is not just TV’s we are good at. With members of the team having extensive knowledge in hi-fi and home cinema, you can be sure whatever your trip to Richer Sounds was for, we are happy to help.

MEET THE TEAM

Lloyd, Store Manager
Long term 8 year veteran to the infamous hi-fi wars, Lloyd is the back bone of the store, with extensive knowledge of plasma, LCD, home cinema and hi-fi. Through the good and the bad episodes he has been the guiding light, almost as bright as the North Star. Or just the Hubble telescope when it hits the light reflacting of the gases of Mars. Lloyd has been experimenting with animals and hi-fi but to date still can't find the formula to create the hybrid integrated beaver amp and cd combi unit yet!
Mike aka MJ, Deputy Manager
Having worked in a number of our Richer Sounds stores, MJ is an old hand. Always smiling and full of enthusiasm, great customer service is always guaranteed. MJ is also our technical wizard so any complicated issues you have, he is your man. Into his music production as well he is especially an expert on our hi-fi equipment.
Stuart, Sales Consultant
Stuart has been at the store since it opened. He is normally found discussing speakers with customers and is happy to explain why your vinyl is far from redundant. If however you are looking to improve on your TV then he will also advise on how to get the best from your set up and discuss the advantages the Modern World has brought to our lives! He generally enjoys playing and listening to music, as long as it’s all analogue!
Louis, Sales Consultant
Started at Watford store then moved to Southgate, Louis has hi fi firmly on his mind. Having always been interested in new technology especially televisions and home cinema, the future of home cinema and tv’s brings out best in Louis as he loves to find out new information and convert that to great customer advice.
Looking after customers is one of my strong points, I am always happy to help. His moto is work hard, be polite and you will be successful.

Tom has been with the company for nearly a year, not a long time but for what he lacks in experience he makes up for in his ability to work hard.
