AN INTRODUCTION TO THE PRESTWICH STORE AND ITS STAFF

Hi and welcome to Richer Sounds Prestwich!

The store is located on Bury New Road which is the main road through Prestwich village leading into Manchester city centre.

FROM THE M60
Turn off at junction 17 (ring road north), (A56) travel towards Manchester City Centre, past Tesco on the right hand side. Straight past Marks & Spencer, and we are a couple of minutes down on the right hand side. Look for the boys in blue smiling and waving at you (no not the police, our blue shirts!!).

TRAM
Travel on the Altrincham to Bury line; jump off at Prestwich, (next stop after Heaton Park). Walk through The Longfield Shopping Centre onto Bury New Road. Turn right and we are 5 minutes on the left hand side opposite ‘Food For Fetish’ and the Bike Factory Shop.

FROM MANCHESTER CITY CENTRE
From the inner city centre ring road, take the A56 to Bury. Stay on the yellow brick road to Kansas, sorry Prestwich, through Salford. St Anne's Park will be going past you on the right and we are a couple of minutes on the left when you get to Tesco…TURN BACK QUICK!!!

BUS
From Manchester or Bury, any of the following routes will bring you right to our store, greeted with a chilly-willy ice pop when its hot or a coffee when its cold.

PARKING
There is parking along Bury New Road or you can take your first right turn (traveling towards Manchester centre.) onto Chapel street where there is a FREE car park! Alternatively you can park in the Red Lion pub car park which is to the rear of the pub and that is situated 150 meterï¿½s from the store on the left when traveling into Manchester.

Dean, Store Manager
A home grown Yorkshire lad at heart, but don't be fooled by his charming exterior, when it comes to making a deal, Dean 'the mean bean' is as ruthless as a pair of Asda Grundigs. Choose this man for any area of hi-fi, DVD, home cinema or flat screen TVs, his willingness to help and save you money is what anyone could hope for whether they be a first time buyer or a long term customer.
Wasim, Deputy Manager
With that cheeky grin you would think that Wasim had just won Big Brother 2008, but alas he bet all his money on the first person to be evicted from the 2008 series. However do not let that deter you because Wasim offers one of the best customer services throughout Richer Sounds. In his spare time Wasim dreams of opening a chain of vegetarian kebab stores throughout the North West region. Also do not accept any sweets off him when you leave because all his uncles are dentists and he is always trying devious ways to tell customers to go to his uncle dentist down the road.
Mark, Sales Consultant and Admin Assistant
Skilled in all things technical, what Mark does not know could be squeezed onto a postage stamp. He's a real asset to the store and he'll make sure your visit is a pleasure.
James, Sales Consultant
James is our Hi Fi expert. A former employee of Russ Andrews and full time tweaker, James is brimming with the right knowledge to help you get the best from your product. James can often be found trawling websites (the Hi Fi ones!!) for the latest gossip or playing with all the new products in our demo room. In his spare time he likes to sell stuff on ebay and spend some quality time with his dog Flyn.
Carl, Sales Advisor
‘Cordial Carl' is our resident IT nerd, who is willing to solve any problem until it hurts. Carl is a bit of a movie/game buff and would happily talk to you for hours about audio codec's and all that kind of stuff! Carl also enjoys volunteering for St John ambulance in his spare time. He has a fantastic knowledge of all the products sell and don't sell, so he is great at recommending the best products for you. You will recognise this guy easily, he will be the one cracking all the jokes!
Nick, Trainee Sales
Nick is our very own handy Andy and is usually found drilling, cutting or measuring. Also another loyal customer of Richer Sounds, Nick is always up on the latest tech is happy to go to any lengths to ensure you get the best products for you. In his spare time Nick can be found clubbing down the village and updating his facebook status.
Adam, Trainee Sales
If you are lucky enough to be served by Adam, you will definitely not forget him!! Adam has been a loyal customer of Richer Sounds for many years and he was spending so much money with us, he thought he may as well come join us and try and get some staff discount! Needless to say, Adam has a fantastic knowledge in all aspects of our business and will give you customer service to remember. He also likes being called Penfold!
Jack, Career Key Timer Sales
You can't miss Jack, he is a cross between Chucky from Rugrats and the lead guitarist from Mud! Jack is the youngest member of our team and started with us as a runner. Now a fully fledged member of the sales team Jack is always eager to please and is also another in store computer tech head. In his spare time Jack enjoys speed dating and doing his homework.
Damian, Career Key Timer Runner
This man is our organizer behind the scenes, house keeper, brew maker and general odd job man. We often find signs around the store with instructions from Damian, so he is not afraid to keep us in check!
