AN INTRODUCTION TO THE MIDDLESBROUGH STORE AND ITS STAFF
Hi and welcome to Richer Sounds Midlesbrough!
The Boro’s cheapest and busiest hi-fi store! Notorious in the town for the friendly, knowledgeable staff, great value and the cheapest and biggest range of flat panel technology and home cinema as well as hi-fi. The banter in this store flies thick and fast, with a great mix of characters, not (all) robots who above all pride themselves on going the extra mile for the customer – we aren’t happy till you are!
If you’re a regular or if you’ve never been to our store before, pop on down for a browse, or just a coffee and a chat (ever met a web retailer who’ll give you free coffee? We’ve even got lollipops for the kids!). Bring your mates. Bring your kids. Bring your partner. Bring somebody else’s!
Our ever changing and massive range of TVs alone deserve regular visiting, and we’ve recently had a refit so we can fit an even bigger selection on display. There’s room for three or four cars in front of the shop if you’re picking up goods, or if you just want a browse we’re fantastically placed within walking distance of most major car parks in the town centre. We’re just near the crossroads of Linthorpe and Borough roads in the up and coming University area of the town.
Howay down to the Boro, you might even get more than you bargained for!
As you can see, we have a bit of space outside our store. Customers can park parallel to the windows, against the glass on the shop side of the red brick line. If you're considerate you can get 2 cars on there. Do not park on the road side of the red brick line or you will get a ticket… you have been warned!

Dave, Store ManagerSo upset was David, at the poor quality of his local cinema multiplex he decided to show them how it should be done, in his own loft. Anyone who has experienced his Japanese import Phantom of the Opera DVD with the subs at full whack will agree Dave is the undisputed king of home cinema on Teeside. In his spare time Dave is better known as superhero the "Cake Crusader," a vigilante dedicated to protecting the streets of Middlesbrough and eating cake. With extensive knowledge on all things Hi-Def, surround sound, projectors and especially obscure special edition DVDs, Dave is the man to speak to if you want to achieve that WOW feeling with your movies.

Paul, Deputy ManagerLong Tall Paul is a gentle giant of a man, easily capable of lifting a plasma screen in one hand, pausing only to laugh at puny mortals as he does. He can often be seen with a drill in hand as he pursues his never ending quest of improving Middlesbrough branch until it becomes the ultimate Richer Sounds store. He has quiet, simple tastes and his set up at home reflects this, prizing quality over volume. His knowledge of hi-fi, home cinema and flat screen TV, however far outstrips these bounds, making Paul an unbeatable source of product information and a veritable fountain of excellent customer service!

Rachel, Sales ConsultantOur Rachel is well up on the whole techy side of the business and in love with massive flat panel TVs. With us now for almost 2 years she is a well established member of the stores A-Team. She can carry over five times her miniscule body weight and is also a retired Destruction Derby Race driver. Bringing a happy sunny atmosphere with her wherever she goes and a touch of class to the branch, Rachel is always going to be a safe bet to help you out!

Stuart, Sales ConsultantWise beyond his years, Stuart is the youngest member of our team, but fear not, he has already lived his life to the full and experienced the glitz and the glamour of the karaoke scene. Drawn to the bright lights like a moth to a bulb, Stuart performed all the hits in all the top spots and has, over the space of a year, methodically worked his way through the entire catalogue from Abba to ZZ Top. Now that his quest is complete he can be found patrolling the shop floor waiting to do his bit to make sure you leave, with a smile on your face and the product of your choice.

Currently the store's music man Simon can play a gigantic selection of musical instruments and was once regarded as the north east's answer to 'Billy Elliot' as he was somewhat of a child prodigy in the art of ballet. Peter, Sales AdvisorPeter is our newest team member. Previously to devoting his life to Richer Sounds, he could be seen constructing a life size replica of the millennium falcon underneath the foundations of Preston Park Museum. He can often be seen walking around the streets of Middlesbrough with a short person underneath a dustbin making beeping noises and a well spoken man wrapped in gold foil. He can also be heard claiming that he can make the Kessel run in less than twelve parsecs. Can you tell he's a Star Wars fan yet? Peter has stuck his teeth straight into the world of TV's and would be more than happy to help you out with all your plasma and LCD needs!
