AN INTRODUCTION TO THE NORWICH STORE AND ITS STAFF
Hi and welcome to Richer Sounds Norwich!
Just recently moved to Pitt Street, just of St. Crispins roundabout, has just about all you need from a great sound and vision shop. Including free car parking behind the store so come on down and see us.
FROM THE NORTH
Stay on A140 even after it turns into A1067.Eventually road bends to the right and takes you to some traffic lights on a roundabout. The store is directly on your left. The free car park is accessed by turning left at the lights and left again just as you get on the flyover.
AS OF MONDAY 4TH JANUARY WORK STARTS ON THE ST AUGUSTINE’S GYRATORY. THIS WORK IS DUE TO GO ON FOR FORTY WEEKS AND ULTIMATELY WILL RE-DIRECT TRAFFIC TRAVELLING SOUTH BOUND DOWN ST. AUGUSTINE’S STREET AWAY FROM PITT STREET. PART OF THIS WORK INVOLVES THE BUILDING OF A NEW LINK ROAD TO PITT STREET. WE WILL KEEP YOU UPDATED AS THE WORK COMMENCES BUT IF YOU HAVE ANY DIFFICULTY GETTING TO US OR YOU GET LOST PLEASE CALL US AT THE STORE AND WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO DIRECT YOU IN. NEW DIRECTIONS WILL BE POSTED AS SOON AS WE KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING.
SOUTH
Come in on A11 (Newmarket Road) or A1056 (Ipswich Road) till you get to St. Stephens roundabout. Turn left to go past the new Chapelfield development, straight across the roundabout and down Grapes Hill. Take the second exit off the next roundabout and that takes you to St. Crispins roundabout where we are. Go straight across then immediately left off the flyover to access the free car park at the rear of the store.
WEST
Come off A47 at the turning for the A1074 (Dereham Road) and stay on this road all the way to the city centre. Turn left at the traffic lights just after a pub called ‘The City Gates’. At the next roundabout take the second exit, and at the next roundabout go straight across then immediately left off of the flyover to access the free car park at the rear of the store.
EAST
From Plumstead Road (B1140) proceed down Ketts Hill, go straight across three roundabouts (second one is a mini roundabout) go over the flyover down to St. Crispins roundabout which you go all the way round to go back up the flyover. Turn immediately left to access the free car park at the rear of the store.
Come and see our recently re-located store with our new car park and loading area (turn left before the St. Crispins flyover into St. Botolph Street as detailed on the map above).

Daniel, Deputy ManagerThis young man's only been with us a short time but already he's proved himself more than capable of turning technical jargon into words and terms that we can all easily understand and make sense of. Mind you, his music taste is frankly appalling (said Roger, owner of at least two Def Leppard CDs and a Zig & Zag single. Oh dear).

Roger, Sales ConsultantThe gently greying hairs on his chin and odd silvery strand in his flowing locks are the only giveaway that Roger has been with the Richer clan for over 10 years, that and his Tenth year of service badge honourably worn on his tie. His spare time is spent attending loud gigs, listening to loads of noisy new groups and playing drums very badly.

Darren, Sales ConsultantA cheerful yet laid back person is our Darren, he has a keen interest in music, gigging and vintage BMX bikes (a strange yet wonderful mix I think you'll agree). As soon as he stops smiling for long enough to tell us more about himself we'll let you know more on the enigma that is Darren.

Musab, Sales AdvisorOur newest addition, Musab, joins us with a politics degree underway at the University of East Anglia and a keen enthusiasm to learn more about TV and hi-fi, passing that knowledge on to Richer Sounds customers. He is a big music fan and enjoys travelling having been to Berlin, North Africa and Lowestoft (only joking, it was really Hunstanton). In a competition between himself, Stacy and Roger for "Who's got the tidiest beard?" he would win hands down. (No he wouldn't! - Stacy)

Peter, Sales AdvisorPete has been with us a short time but is coming along in leaps and bounds, proving to be an enthusiastic and valued member of the team. A big music fan (yet another drummer) he’s often to be found DJing at various bars in Norwich city centre. If you’re lucky you just might catch him spinning his wheels of steel. Smashie and Nicey would be proud, let’s rock!

Stephen, Trainee Sales AdvisorSteve comes back to us as a trainee sales advisor having done sterling service as Norwich's best runner and stockroom controller in recent past times. He's keen and polite to all and is learning fast when it comes to any enquiry regarding TV, hi-fi or AV equipment. In his spare time he enjoys home brewing, bonsai tree horticulture (ask him, we don't know either) and tuning up his smelly Yamaha 125cc two stroke. Lovely!
