MEET THE TEAM

  Ian, Store Manager

  Aries. Ian loves watching his fab plasma, cheering on West Ham and buying every CD ever made. He's still up for it after 15 years and despite appearances, won't eat your children. Ian is a sucker for detail which is one reason why the Romford store has always been one of the most consistent high performers in the company. A music fan his whole life Ian enthuses over recorded music and the equipment we listen to it on. By the way, he never had a role as the lead villain in Flash Gordon.

  Steve, Deputy Manager

  Taurus. With 20 years service under his belt, Steve is the daddy of the shop! He loves to hug huge trees and knows everything about every piece of hi-fi made since 1066. Steve just loves to bend over backwards to help his customers, lucky he is double jointed his whole body over then. Ask him to touch his elbow with his little finger, its uncanny! He is a very very nice man.

  Bob, Sales Consultant

  Aquarius. Uncle Bob loves to be a hardcore metal superstar DJ in his spare time. In 7 years at Richer Sounds he has learnt everything there is to know! Having previously sold musical instruments Bob very much cares about how music sounds. Come in and ask him about semi clefs and low end sub bass response, you too will be amazed! He knows everything about the Twilight novels, come in and quiz him.

  Paul, Sales Consultant

  Virgo. Family man Paul just loves to grow his own Rhubarb on his allotment. Paul joined 5 years ago and has since sprouted an extra finger on his left hand! Although his eyebrows meet in the middle he is very handsome. He is a very quick learner and matched with a long standing enthusiasm for audio and TV equipment is more than ready and able to offer you great service. Paul says he is a football fan. He supports the Urchins (that's Hornchurch AFC to you and me). Top scientists are still trying to marry these two statements together. He is in lurve! With Jamie Cullum!

  Dave, Sales Consultant

  Aries. Dave "The Ginger Flash" Campbell simply loves to read up on Hi-Fi and TV's when not playing on his Xbox360, PS3, Wii, PSP, Megadrive, N64, Sega Saturn or DS (so not very often then). He is a master at Call of Duty, well others master him anyway! 8 years of service and having covered in most shops south of Aberdeen Dave is real face about the company.

  Mutley, Sales Consultant

  Capricorn. When not trying to knock Penelope Pitstop out of the race and hog all the glory for himself, Mutley, now in his fifth year is still feverishly swotting up on anything audio/visual. His favourite hobby is trying to produce his own football team via the means of offspring. A fine guitarist in the 'not very fine' sense of the word and a keen angler he's always writing songs about the one that got away. He is a genuine diamond geezer and would bend over backwards to help you, if only he could!

  Aquarius. James is another happy hammer. Now in his third year of service and with a background in electrical retail James is always on the ball and ready for action, his only distraction being his addiction to tanning salons and alternative beauty treatments in general. In fact he is so beautiful that James Blunt is his hero. Be careful if you see him driving around town, his pedal car is extremely fragile.

  Gemini. Alex is a Gooner! How did that happen? When not attacking TVs with his head he can be found tidying them expertly. I have tried to get him to come round and do my housework but he told me to go away! Now in his second year of service DJ Smiley as those in the know call him, Alex is always primed and ready to help.

  Chris, Phone Answerer

  Gemini. Give Chris a call this summer. Being a Scotsman he's going to be a bit bored (again) while the rest of us get excited. With 12 years experience Chris (like to think) he knows it all. Previously a performer on 'Mini Pops' singing Marillion songs back in the day and with showbiz still in his blood, Chris will love to accompany your visit to our store with any showtune of your choice.

  Graham, Stockroom Controller

  Handyman Graham is a welcome addition to the team. It's a well known true fact he built his own house. Being a Jethro Tull fan the fact he managed this standing on one leg whilst playing the flute makes it all the more impressive. He believes he could beat Lewis Hamilton in a race over any distance in any vehicle, and quite frankly who are we to say he couldn't!

  Rich, Stockroom Controller

  A real life 'Lock & Stock' type guy Rich can be found either gaming himself into a frenzy or even more frenziedly tidying our stockrooms. A jack of all trades, some of them even legal.

  Jim, Stockroom Controller

  As part of our bring your pet to work scheme, Bob insisted we employ Jim. As small as a mouse but as mighty as a shire horse Jim is always appearing out of nowhere like little leprechaun. He loves to drum and is another keen gamer. Some say he's always game.

  Khalid, Engineer

  Khalid has no ears, but this hasn't hampered him in achieving excellence in the field of Audio/Visual repairs. He is an Arsenal fan but hey, no-ones perfect! (Ian did not write this!). 16 years with RS and still as enthusiastic as he was on day 5690, can he fix it? Yes he can!
