AN INTRODUCTION TO THE YORK STORE AND ITS STAFF

Hi and welcome to Richer Sounds York!

We are situated right in the middle of York's beautiful town centre surrounded by hundreds of years of history, amazing architecture and one of the UK's stand-out shopping experiences. Our store is just a stones throw from York Minster, The Shambles and the Jorvik Viking Museum so why not make a day out of your visit to see us?

You can drive right up to the store on weekdays between 10-11am in the morning or after 4pm in the afternoon. On Saturdays access is between 10-10:30am and after 4:30pm and on Sundays after 4pm. Outside these hours we offer a porter service to help you get your purchases back to your car. If you would like any more information regarding access or our delivery services please give us a ring.

Our knowledgeable team are always on hand to assist you regardless of whether you need advice on surround sound or just recommendations for a good local restaurant so please don't hesitate to ask.

Dylan, Store Manager
Dylan is the tree man. No he is not green and leafy but he is very tall. Once you have achieved the simple task of tracking him down, Dylan has an abundance of technical knowledge which he will happily put at your disposal. With over 12 years of retail customer service experience behind him, Dylan is the man to help you find your perfect system
Jodie, Deputy Manager
We worry about Jodie. He knows far more than is healthy about AV and Hi Fi. After over 9 years with Richer Sounds and a lifetime playing with all things electrical (including a stint as a DJ) Jodie is the stores technical expert, so if its advice and a great deal that you are looking for, Jodie is your man!
Liam, Sales Consultant
Liam is a self professed expert in “how it works” and after a year at Richer Sounds and many years taking speakers apart the rest of us must reluctantly agree this maybe the case. With an abundance of product knowledge and tonnes of enthusiasm, Liam is the man to meet all of your AV needs.
Joe, Sales Consultant
Joe AKA "Baggins" is the stores resident kazoo noise specialist and has a love of all things covered in icing! Joe's hifi and home cinema knowledge is growing every day and with several years customer service experience already acquired he is always happy to help.
Matt, Sales Consultant
Matt is a hoarder, he hoards everything; pens, keys, bits of paper, but most importantly knowledge, after completing his degree Matt has joined the ranks at Richer Sounds and is amassing a wealth of Hi Fi and AV knowledge to ensure that he is well equipped to sort you out with an amazing system at a great price (just watch out for your pens!)
