Excellent budget digital audio cable
I bought this cable from cambridge store, after good advice from sales advisor there.
It was to use between the dac from Arcam CD 17 player and the dac on the Arcam SA20 amplifier. It replaces the analog cables I previously used.
I was dubious about any sound improvement that this cambridge audio digital cable would provide would be very minimal. But for such a low cost I gave it a try.
At first very little change. After a few days, the improvement was much more evident.
The sound is more focused, sharper and detailed.
The bass and the low frequencys are a revelation. Singers voices are more focused and you hear the breathing between notes, especially female singers.
I also believe the Arcam amplifier DAC has too take alot of the credit for the upgrade in sound.
For such a low amount of cash spent, I cannot recommend this upgrade highly enough.

This beast can connect 2 things via digital RCA at distances of up to 1 meter. If you have 2 things with RCA ports that are less than 1 meter apart, this cable is for you. A++ would buy again.

Decent upgrade
Bought as a replacement for an old Ixos cable I had to link my Arcam CD player to my Cambridge CXN streamer. It’s not a night and day difference, but there is a bit more space between instruments and cymbals sound a bit brighter and crisper. For the price though, it’s a decent upgrade and worth it to make sure the potential of your system isn’t being held back

System : Kef IQ5 Speakers, Cambridge CXA 60 Amplifier , Pioneer PDR 509 CD Recorder, QED Silver Anniversary BiWired Speaker Cable.
Even with my budget CD Player, this Interconnect lets my system shine - it just sounds so good. Detail, Imaging and Tonal Balance just makes me want to listen to everything I can.
I can't imagine how good it'll sound when I upgrade to the Cambridge CD Player.

Works just fine
I wanted a digital interconnect I could trust so went for a known brand. I'm slightly worried that nowhere on the cable or in the packaging does it say it is the correct 75ohm impedance but I can't imagine Cambridge Audio would get that wrong. In any case it seems to work well.

Received this yesterday following a weeks delay owing to my not being around to take delivery although why the DPD delivery could not just post through the letterbox I don’t know. A Good Interconnect for My New Hi-fi System
Never having had an opportunity to use a digital interconnect before purchasing my latest hi-fi system, makes it impossible for me to compare the Cambridge Audio DIG300 with any other interconnect. I was happy to make this purchase as Ian, the manager at Richer Sounds in Gidea Park, Romford, who had been so helpful in facilitating my choices for my new system, recommended it to connect my Cambridge Audio CXC to their CXA60. The obvious benefit of using the digital input is that I still have four analogue inputs, one of which connects my old Denon DAB digital receiver via Cambridge Audio's AUD300, which was also recommended by Ian, my other interconnects being suitable. Although I have not been able to test my DIG300 against another interconnects, having replaced the original speaker cables, supplied with my old Hi-fi, with Cambridge Audio SYMPHONY 400 cables, and noting the great improvement these provided, I am confident that this type of upgrade is well worthwhile.

Shockingly good at the price!
I have never skimped on cables when connecting my kit having been introduced to the surprising difference they can make to the sound by a sadly long gone local dealer (Peter Ellis Audio in Newark, Notts). So when I bought my new Cambridge CXA60 and CXC from the Leicester store I was a little sceptical when Gary recommended this £20 co-axial offering also from Cambridge, especially knowing that (somewhere) in the house I had a Chord company unit that cost £60 ten years ago and I knew (thought) it was a superb sounding cable. However having a £20 cable in my hand was infinitely better than having one I couldn't find, no matter how good it is!
I had been listening to my new stuff or a few days and was extremely happy (see my reviews of the electronics) when, out of the blue my old Chord cable shows up, so out with the new, in with the old and spin up some familiar sounds......... How shocked was I?! The sound was less dynamic with the vocals seeming to be pushed back and the bass sounded boomy and flabby.
Back in with the Cambridge cable and the difference was amazing, tighter control, solid punchy bass, crisp trebles and vocals that sounded realistic and "right there" in the room!
So if you're sceptical about this cable being a bit too Cheap to be any good or, if you're on the other side of the fence and think £20 is too much to pay for what is ostensibly just a bit of wire, take my advice and buy it, it's way better than it ought to be at this price!

Quality lead at a great price
I purchased the Cambridge Audio DIG300 lead as a recommended product to support the Pioneer SBX-B30 sound base which I also bought at the same time, having the DIG300 onnection between to the TV and sound base has enhanced the quality of sound to its maximum.
