Smart door The fold down door at the front of the Alphason Chromium isn't just for looks; it functions superbly, too. IR-friendly glass ensures that remote control signals can easily pass through, without the door needing to be left open. The integral damper also ensures the door opens with a smooth, soft glide.
Practical space With two full size components plus cubby holes for accessories either side, the Chromium tidies away a lot of clutter. The main shelves feature open backs for ventilation, while cable management keeps all the wires tidy.

Great tv standI love this tv stand with its modern stylish looks. It hides the majority of the multitude of cables that seem to be required by modern day living, and houses my satellite tv box, Blu Ray player, soundbar (on top), phone, router, Hive hub with room to spare. I'll admit to employing some assistance with assembly, but they tell me it was relatively easy! I can comment on the packaging which was particularly sturdy and impressive; no chance of damage in transit on this item!

Good product but very fiddlyThe instructions could be much clearer! It looked like I had 2 hinges / bolts missing, I checked the box so many times only to then realise they were already attached to another piece.... but they don't even attach to that bit! Makes me wonder if I had been sent a returned / refurbished item.
Other parts of the instructions were very fiddly and seemed illogical, like the steps should have been in a different order which would have made it much easier!
Also the glass has a scratch.
Overall the product itself is good and very stylish and the richer sounds service was first class, but I don't think the product is worth the premium price.

TV sits too lowLooks good, all the cables are well hidden, but the TV sits too low.
I got over this by only mounting the square bracket to the upright by only two screws so raising 10cm or so. Looks a lot better
