Asahi Kasei AK4493SEQ Dual DAC for improved sound quality and battery life
Implemented in an Astell & Kern product for the first time, the dual AK4493SEQ DAC delivers state-of-art signal processing. AKM’s Velvet Sound technology reduces noise and distortion for the purest sound possible. Alongside the wide dynamic range, this gives the SE180 sensationally lifelike sound quality. As well as improved sound quality, the improved efficiency helps increase battery life to up to 14 hours – the best available amongst SE180 modules.

New generation AMP technology
A&K’s new AMP technology brings about a completely revised circuit design, board layout and component upgrade. The revised AMP technology helps reduce distortion, giving a quieter background for enhanced detail.
