Lightweight comfort
At around a half to a third of the weight of Audeze’s usual headphones, the LCD-1’s are much easier to take with you. Just like the family tradition, however, they’re supremely comfortable to wear. Memory foam earpads surround your ears and join the padded headband to make these headphones perfect for longer listening sessions.
Designed for on the move
Unlike Audeze’s more usual reference headphones, the LCD-1s are truly portable. Not only are they supplied with a travel case, they also fold to fit within a more compact space. The tangle-free cable has a 3.5mm plug to suit portable Hi-res players and even your smartphone or laptop. A 6.35mm adaptor is also included, making these ideal as dual-use home/travel headphones.

Great headphones!
I have now had these 'phones for a few weeks and am very impressed with their abilities.
The amount of detail is outstanding along with an accurate and velvety mid-range which makes voices sound superb. The speed of the bass is excellent and I am unable to follow funky bass lines without dancing (glad this isn't a video review). The only minor downsides are a relatively narrow sound-stage and a slight lack of bass slam, neither of which are enough to detract from the overall performance. All in all a great performance from a well made product. Service from Richer Sounds is as usual superb and I will continue to buy from them.
