In a conventional multi-strand cable, distortion caused by electrical and magnetic strand interaction is compounded as each strand changes position within the bundle. In an AudioQuest Semi-Solid Concentric packed cable, strands within the bundle maintain their fixed relationships, significantly reducing distortion.
