On-axis, it focuses on your vocals but off-axis, it strongly rejects any other sounds nearby. This makes it ideal for session recording, when other loud instruments are close by or for podcasting/broadcasting, when you need to concentrate on vocals, while ignoring background noise.
Open Acoustics Technology for natural sound
Austrian Audio’s proprietary Open Acoustics Technology positions the recording capsule and mount in as much free space as possible. This means that the mic captures every subtle nuance of sound, giving the most detailed recording or playback performance.
