Very satisfied. Great upgrade for me
I wanted to upgrade the "stereo part" of 5.1 system for when listening to music. I replaced the L R of a B&w MT 60D(5 x M1s and pv1d sub) system. It was great for movies, not so much for listening to music as it required the sub to fill those lows.
I'm using a Sony str-dn 1080 reciever to drive them using pure direct option. Massive improvement. Used the calibration tool to set them. Love the soundstage.
Purchased with the stav24 s2 stands. Look awesome. Thanks to Bernel the sales assistant the birmingham branch.

Compact but impressive speakers
Can't think of a single downside to these speakers for this price range. Great build quality and design. The sound is truly impressive: dynamic and clear, they sound more expensive than they are. They may be fairly compact but that doesn't hold them back, they can definitely go loud when you want them to. The bass was a little overpowering in the position we set them up in, but the supplied foam plugs for the bass evened out the sound wonderfully. Would be a brilliant part of any mid range hi-fi set up.

What a great sound from such a small speaker, worth every penny. Beware that these are very power hungry so ensure your amp has enough power to drive them.

Having reviewed these and chatted with Tim from Exeter Store, I decided to purchase these speakers. The sound was far better than expected so clear and each instrument so distinct. I would definitely recommend these. Paired well with my amp CX60.
