Rock on - literally!
I bought a new Sony TV and Formation Soundbar together and pondered whether to but the Bass. As soon as the soundbar was installed I decided to take the plunge and I am so glad I did. The ease of setting up and the quality of the sound are stunning. You don't really get what it is doing until you approach the unit and see the end speaker diaphragms moving. If you turn of the bass then you notice the difference - not that the soundbar quality isn't superb by itself but it just gives the icing on the cake. Would I recommend it - absolutely.

Adds depth to the sound
The formation bass adds depth to the sound of the sound bar and I loved it - well for one day because then the formation soundbar started emitting a continuous screeching noise and is awaiting collection for repair under warranty. We look forward to its return then we can appreciate the bass

Pure sound, perfect shape!
Truly awesome base, from a tiny footprint, another fantastic product from B&W. An Audiofiles dream base, punching way above its weight, truly beautiful to look at and flawless form factor. and a great deal from richer sounds. highly recommended to add a big punch to your Formation suite

Clarity of sound
I have had a B&W Zeppelin for about 5 years and wanted to upgrade. The Formation range offers expansion. Initially I purchased the Wedge and Bass which are outstanding and give real clarity. I hope to get the soundbar soon to add TV sound to the
system.
