Very easy to set up (Virgin TiVo, Freeview, Nintendo Switch etc) except my PS4! Refuses to put a picture or sound through HDMI unless you follow certain steps which I found from Google searches! Once set up, great TV! I expected a Sony PS4 to just immediately work with a Sony TV, but sadly, it doesn't seem to be the case!

I got this after Christmas - excellent TV great picture and sound I use my Bose bluetooth headphones sometimes - can be out of synchronisation usually the TV sorts it but can be a bit hit or miss- hence not 5 stars - Apps are great and easy to access

Backlight poor
I purchased my new television as at the time, it was advertised as having a HDMI 2.1 port at most retailers. Upon purchase I realised this wasn’t the case. Other than this, the backlight is the only real downside, it does not go very bright and has a negative effect on the image when turned up to max. Furthermore, the blacks and shadows in the image are also poor compared to other televisions on the market. Trying to calibrate the television to gaming consoles is also difficult as it is not capable of displaying some of the darker calibration colours. Not expected for a 2020 model television.

Really nice TV but not perfect
We bought this 43" TV to replace a 28" twelve year old Samsung 720p set. Everything about the Sony was exactly as described in the online sales literature but there are two things that I'm not so pleased with. The first is the remote control. I would like some of the buttons to have been programmable to better fit with the way that we use the TV. The second is that the Android TV operating system is way more limited in what you can do that I would have expected. This is partly my fault because I didn't research it well enough but the number of apps that are applicable is way lower than I would have expected and the ability to customise the way that you access them is well behind what it could be. On the flip side, the sound is better than I expected.

Great picture
Bought this to replace a previous Sony 32" TV (6 years old) and the difference is wonderful, much sharper, brighter and especially in the dark/black areas. The text on the screen is also much better for viewing across the room, clearer and sharper edges to the characters. Would recommend for anyone looking for reasonable size screen and great picture quality. I don't use the TV sound, so cannot rate this aspect of the unit.

Very pleased with new purchase. Excellent TV with stunning picture and good sound.Many Apps available and Netlix button on remote to help with program selection. Only complaints are no user manual supplied (online assistance) and no analoge outputs, so any old amps or cinema systems are redundant. Always been a Sony fan and this TV does not dissapoint.

Superb picture quality
Having done the research I stumped for the Sony XH91. The picture quality is superb and absolutely no motion stutter which is important as we watch a lot of sport. The other pleasing thing is the sound quality which is very good.

Better TVs out there
Bought this beginning of Jan. picture quality is ok similar to other TV brands. The TV a when wall mounted sticks quite a bit out from the wall even with a no-gap wall mount. The motion view settings are embedded in the UI and takes time to find and set to one’s personal preferences. There is no instruction guide or manual to set up the TV and sound quality is adequate. Should have opted for another brand which would have provided a similar viewing experience at a lower price point or better features and design style at the same price point.

Superb picture. Struggling with sound bar
It’s an amazing picture. No question. I’ve just been left frustrated with the sound with sound bar. I use via Arc and if I flick from sky box where there is no issue and then go to Netflix, I get the most awful screeching buzz sound that leaves you diving for the remote to mute. Then I have to switch into the menu to put TV speakers on.
It could be something that I have done wrong or missing but when I try and rectify, I get frustrated and wish we had our old Sony back.
When using through Sky and the sound bar is working fine, it’s perfect. Just the niggle is technology that I’m struggling with.

Excellent picture quality,
I wanted an upgrade from smaller TV, this model of Sony was correct for the size, very easy to set up, this model is really designed to be wall mounted, we have this model free standing on a unit the legs/ feet have very small contact and are making the TV easily accidentally moved, If we had bought from a retailer this issue might have put us off this TV.
