Power up
Boasting 35 watts per channel, the AXA35 is 40% more powerful than the smaller AXA25. This not only means it’s better at filling larger rooms but also in delivering a richer, more dynamic sound at lower volumes.
A step-up in quality
As well as being more powerful, the AXA35 also improves internal component quality, giving improved sonic detail and realism with less distortion. The toroidal power transformer and separate pre/power amp circuit boards are features usually only found in much more expensive amplifiers, making the AXA35 something of a giant-slayer.
Convenient features
Although the AXA35 is dedicated to giving the best sound possible, this doesn’t mean it’s left out handy features. Over the more basic AXA25 model, you’ll find the addition of a headphone socket and a system remote control that also operates matching Cambridge Audio CD players and streamers. The digital display makes it easy to check the amp’s operating status.
Your whole system connected – including a turntable
Featuring a phono input (for turntable with MM cartridge), the AXA35 is the perfect amp for a vinyl based system. It doesn’t end here, though. Four RCA phono inputs are ideal for a CD player, streamer, games console and even your TV set-top box. There’s also a 3.5mm AUX input at the front that’s handy for temporary connections – such as an MP3 player or smartphone. The audio output lets you take a signal out to an external processor or recorder.
Power your music player or Bluetooth receiver
Next to the audio inputs you’ll also find a handy USB power socket. This is perfect for powering Bluetooth receivers or smart audio streaming devices, such as the Google Chromecast Audio, without having to find another spare mains socket.

Looks good sounds good!
Bought this to replace an old Arcam 6 that gave up the ghost. Tge AXA looks great but more importantly sounds great. I"m no techie when it comes to audio equipment but I know what I like to hear and this delivers through the SX 50 speakers I have.

Good value and great sounding amp
Delivered two days after placing order and easy to set up and operate for a sound to beat other similar priced amps. Also well made and just right for my room environment.
Would recommend without hesitation.

Cambridge Audio Amp
I purchased a Cambridge Audio Amp to replace a Musical Fidelity Amp that I had used for nearly 30 years. I must say I am delighted with the new amp, and it’s great to have a British company supplying such a quality product. The amp is built from quality materials and I’m sure it will last a lifetime.

A great replacement Intergrated Amplifier
I finally got around to replacing my old intergrated amplifier I received with a tape player and speakers for my 18th birthday. I am now 48, and following a purchase of a Cambridge audio CD player in 2010 (Topaz CD10), I decided to try a Cambridge Audio Amplifier - very pleased that I did. It has a very good build quality, a more refined, detailed and richer sound (from what I was used to) and the remote control also works with the much older model CD player (which has it's own remote in any case). These products are built to last and are great quality so justifies the value of the purchase, even though this is more at the budget level of the overall range.

Great clear sound!
This is a most excellent amp, especially for the money, the clarity of sound through my bass speaker is amazing, very happy with this purchase and most definitely recommend! The only down side is it turns itself down every time it's switched off but that's probably something to do with the settings that I haven't worked out yet!

Brilliant amp for its price
Bought an Axa35 last week to pair with my ProJect Primary-E turntable as i really couldnt splash too much being on a tight budget. This product not only succeeded in doing the job but really stands out an ensures a great listen. So simple and elegant and really gives the customer some satisfaction when trying to get the most bang for your buck. highly recommend for somebody just getting into creating a HI-FI system but still wanting to save on cost. Was also delivered on time and well packaged, although there isn’t much in terms of instruction but that just shows how straight forward it is to set up without having to faff around too much.
