"A great £500 amplifier that looks and sounds the part this Cambridge is a big success"
What Hi-Fi Sound & Vision Award Winner 2016

Quality engineering for a precise sound
At the heart of the CXA60 amp is a super-efficient, fully symmetrical Class A/B amplifier. This ensures a precise, even sound with excellent separation between the right and left channels. Powering the amp is a large toroidal transformer giving the CXA60 its powerful, dynamic sound and a healthy 60W per channel power, enough to drive most speakers to high levels in all but the very largest rooms.

Built-in DAC
The Cambridge CXA60 has been designed to work just as well with digital sources as analogue ones. So Cambridge has fitted a high-quality DAC (Digital to Analogue Convertor) inside the amp. Usually found in its dedicated DacMagic range, the Wolfson WM8740 DAC offers high-quality sound that could actually improve your existing digital sources. With two optical digital inputs and one coaxial one, up to three digital sources can be connected, such as games console, TV and a CD transport such as the matching Cambridge CXC.

Optional Bluetooth
Add the optional Cambridge BT100 Bluetooth dongle as a cost option and you'll get Bluetooth connectivity with your smartphone, tablet or other compatible device. Not only will the music from your linked device sound superb through the unit's sophisticated DAC technology, but it's also compatible with the higher grade Bluetooth aptX - designed to give the highest audio quality and the closest yet to a conventional wired connection.

Analogue connectivity
Just because it has class-leading digital connectivity doesn't mean that Cambridge has forgotten about analogue connectivity. The Cambridge CXA60 has four line level inputs, easily enough for the vast majority of systems. There's a 3.5mm front-mounted input, perfect for connecting an MP3 player or smartphone for quick and convenient playback. Other handy connections include an RCA subwoofer output, headphone socket and connections for two pairs of speakers.

Sleek style
The CXA60 is part of the totally redesigned CX-Series. The distinctive tear-drop profile gives the CXA60 a contemporary look and makes it the ideal partner for the matching CD transport and network player. Yet it's far more than just a good-looking case; it helps the sound quality, too. With rigid, metal construction and low-resonance design, the casing helps shield the amp from both mechanical and electrical interference, helping to improve clarity and reduce background noise.

For an amplifier that treats all your music sources, whether digital or analogue, with the same high regard, the Cambridge CXA60 is a talented all-rounder.

"If you've already got a good DAC, the Cambridge CXC transport is a no-brainer." 'What Hi-Fi? Sound & Vision magazine'. 5-star review. Tested at £300.

Transport-only design

The Cambridge CXC is a CD transport only, so inside you'll only find 'half' of what's usually inside a CD player. Although this may sound unconventional, it has many benefits. The most obvious of these is cost effectiveness, but there are sonic benefits to be had, too. Without an onboard DAC (Digital to Analogue Convertor), the power supply only has to drive the CD transport. By being dedicated to this task it can provide a clean, stable power supply for the highest performance possible at its price.

Pair with your choice of DAC
Another advantage is increased flexibility. Chose to match with one of the Cambridge CXA digital amplifiers or use your own choice of DAC entirely. By starting with such a high quality transport design, the CXC could see you through many system and DAC upgrades without being in the least bit out of place.

S3 servo
Rather than using 'off the shelf' CD software, Cambridge uses its own S3 servo processor. Dedicated to CD music playback rather than the multi-purpose disc readers, the CXC maximises the full potential of your audio CDs. With state-of-the-art error correction your CDs simply sound more realistic, more dynamic and more detailed than with other players.

Sleek style
The CXC is part of the totally redesigned CX-Series. The distinctive tear-drop profile gives the CXC a contemporary look and makes it the ideal partner for the digital amplifiers and network player. Yet it's far more than just a good-looking case - it helps the sound quality, too. With rigid, metal construction and low-resonance design, the casing helps shield the player from both mechanical and electrical interference, helping to improve clarity and reduce background noise.

Dedicated to the finest sound from CD possible, the Cambridge CXC CD transport redefines CD playback quality at its price.

"This latest generation of Bronze 2 is arguably the best yet. This is a truly complete speaker for the money"What Hi-Fi Sound & Vision Award Winner 2016

The best Bronze so far
It's fair to say that the previous, multi-award-winning, ranges of Monitor Audio Bronze speakers have usually topped their class. Thanks to new drive units and the same attention to cabinet and crossover design, the latest Bronze range is the best yet. Take a listen and we're sure you'll agree.

Sound quality
The latest Bronze range comes with new C-CAM gold dome tweeters. These give the ideal balance between detail and smoothness. Upper frequencies stay clear and uncongested - even at high volume levels where inferior designs begin to distort. Despite being a stand-mount speaker, the Bronze 2 packs a dynamic punch. The new C-CAM woofer is larger than the one fitted to the Bronze 1 and it's a difference you can hear - especially with bass-rich music. Match it up to a good quality amp and you can expect an effortless sound with the talent to make all types of music sound 'real'.

The ideal speaker for
The Bronze 2 is very much the all-rounder of the Bronze range and perfect for use in stereo systems in small to medium sized rooms. Use them with a subwoofer and they also make very impressive speakers for home cinema in larger rooms. These are the first speakers in the Bronze range to offer bi-wiring, making them the perfect match for higher-end hi-fi systems and AV receivers that offer the option of bi-amping.

Stylish design, available in a choice of finishes
Using high quality MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard) cabinets with extensive bracing, the Bronzes are not just solidly built, they offer very low cabinet colouration for low distortion, too. The beauty within is wrapped in a choice of premium quality vinyl veneers. Choose between black, white or walnut for the best match with your decor.

Powerful-sounding but still domestic friendly, the Monitor Audio Bronze 2 remain amongst the best all-rounders in their class.
