Great Improvement To TV Sound!
I bought this to improve the sound quality of the SONY television. Easy to install and there is a noticeable improvement. I have tried the optical and HDMI connections but my ear cannot detect any difference. Likewise I find when switchimng the mode on the TV5 ther eis little change in the sound. Bluetooth works really well and the sound when playing music is excellent. The only downside is the TV5 does not switch off when the TV is off which means the light stays on - not good in the night when trying to sleep!

sonically superb, poor build quality and quality
Bought it via richer sounds Leeds overt the Xmas period, first one stopped working after 3 days, richer sounds replaced, second one the front fascia wouldn't sit flush, had that swapped with the previous unit and now every so often turn the TV of, the soundbase goes of..and back , connected with hdmim arc

Understated excellence
It was easy to install. It works seamlessly with our Sony 4k TV, blu-ray player and Virgin media V6 box so it pleases my wife, it looks neat. And it sounds very good. I am hearing much more detail and even listening to music without pictures.

Understated looks, it's the sound that matters
I was sure I wanted a soundbar instead of the soundbar I currently have. What hifi and Richer sounds websites convinced me that the Cambridge Audio TV5 was the way to go. I knew about the v2 update but the inclusion of an hdmi socket is no deal breaker. 3rd party reviews suggest the sound quality is similar. Arriving at RS York I enquired about the v1 and they had one in stock. Deal done, once home I eagerly unpacked it (really well packed by Cambridge Audio), setup is a breeze. Sound quality is excellent, I'm proper chuffed!

Solid build with a great audio quality
The dimensions were 100% accurate which is what the TV needed to sit on. The audio sound is a paradigm shift in depth and richness over the TV speakers. The Cambridge Audio TV5 soundbase is a solid product which hasn't let down the Cambridge fame for quality. Cabling was a doddle. If anyone steals it I will buy it again.

Great value for money
Bought at reduced price of £200. This is used on a 65 inch TV and gives more than enough power for films, music and TV. Only downside is it's impossible to know what sound system is in use as there is no visual indication, but this is a minor detail. Overall , a great unit.

Better than TV sound
Although the sound options were not very clear to the ear when chosen, the quality of the sound was an improvement os the TV speakers. The TV sits nicely on the base and installation is simple

The product is simple and very effective
This is my 3rd purchase from richer sounds and once again it has been a very enjoyable experience. Great service and product knowledge gives ons confidence in the goods. My purchase of the TV5 sound bar has greatly increased my viewing pleasure and has proved to be an excellent buy. All round very happy with my choice and richer sounds sold me the sound bar with their usual professionalism.
