After decades of producing award-winning amps and tuners, Cambridge Audio have combined the two and launched the Topaz SR10 stereo receiver.

Quality components

The SR10 is a pretty impressive amplifier in its own right. A high quality, discrete design amplifier, it's powered by an oversize toroidal transformer. This quality of components is usually reserved for more expensive amplification and helps give the SR10 a class-leading power output of 85W per channel. Such effortless power gives the Cambridge Audio SR10 the ability to drive a wide range of speakers to high volume levels, even in larger rooms. Alternatively, two sets of outputs make it possible to run a second set of speakers, simultaneously, in another room.

Plenty of inputs
In addition to the two sets of speaker outputs, the SR10 features three line level inputs and an output for recording. There's also a good quality MM phono stage built-in, so you can connect a turntable without the need for a separate phono pre-amp. At the front there's an input for an MP3 player or iPod and a headphone socket. In short, the Cambridge SR10 has everything you need to form the basis of a complete hi-fi system.

Built-in receiver
The tuner is, of course, built-in. The FM/AM design offers 30 pre-sets and excellent sound quality. The RDS functionality is easy to read via the dimmable, cool-blue display. Rounding off this well-balanced receiver is a full function remote control. Should you match up a Cambridge Audio CD player, DVD or Blu-ray, the SR10's remote will work those, too.

Quality build
Built to Cambridge Audio's usual high standard, the Topaz SR10 is also far better made than the class average. A high rigidity metal casing with brushed aluminium front panel looks and feels a lot more luxurious than thin steel case and plastic front panel that's more common on rival receivers.

If you've always admired the sound, build quality and value of Cambridge Audio amplifiers but have sought a built-in tuner or more power, then the Cambridge Audio Topaz SR10 is for you!

We'll happily come to you!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does everything I wanted Easy to set up and sound is everything I want and need, my only complaint is it comes with an American plug why why why. Asked the assistant why and he found it strange too, now looking to buy a replacement plug

Rated 4 out of 5 by from easy to use very happy with this product, wasent even sure you could still buy them, my Pioneer bought in 1979 was getting a little tired, easy to set up and use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good sound and easy to set up Needed to replace pioneer receiver. This fits the bill as all existing plug ins are compatible including 2 sets of speakers. Good sound.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cambridge SR10 Amp This amp has some serious power. I am a complete beginner when it comes to hif seperates but this is absolutely perfect. Easy to set up. Combined with a Sony turntable and cambridge audio speakers, my music has never sounded so good. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great-sounding amp, very good value at the price. Paired with HEOS Link and a pair of Monitor Bronze 2 speakers, this is giving a detailed and full sound across the many different styles of music I listen to. Good-looking, easy to set up and use, and the front-mounted auxiliary port is a definite advantage for ease of use of occasional phone, ipod etc. Nothing unnecessarily fancy - just very good quality at a very competitive price. Does what it says on the tin!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cambridge SR10 Amp - Excellent Amp at a reasonable price An excellent Amp at a very reasonable price. The unit replaces the Amp part of a 1991 Pioneer midi system, in which the Amp and the speakers were the only parts still working (and the Amp was finally giving up the ghost). I use the Amp mainly for CDs and an ipod. The sound quality is significantly better than the old Amp, which was a reasonably high end system. The CD player I have is also in the Cambridge Topaz range: They work well and look good together - and the remote with the Amp also has controls for the CD player.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Would highly recommend this Amp The Mrs bought me this Amp for Christmas to replace my aging Azur 640A, because I wanted one with a phono stage and a built in FM receiver. It took me all of 20 minutes to set up, and is working perfectly. The FM signal is clear, CD's sound great and my vinyl collection sounds thoroughly rejuvenated. This is the first time we've ordered anything from the RicherSounds website after buying in store at the Preston and Bristol branches in the past, and the service as been second to none.
