There's a USB connection for your computer, laptop or tablet and it also supports 24-bit/192kHz transfer, so music files stored on your laptop in top 24/192 quality can be streamed, uncompressed, and enhanced by its DAC.

Jitter is especially prevalent on music sent via network devices or hard drives and can give the sound a harsh and unnatural quality.

Great sound
I bought the DACMagic 100 rotors connect my recently purchased Cambridge Audio CXC CD Transport to my SXA35 Amplifier and it works like a dream, the sound is pristine. Of course there are other inputs which I could use to connect other devices (I need Toslink for the CXC)

Outstanding performance for the money
A lot of features in a compact case. Extremely well built with a quality feel and appearance, and a sound to match. Operational notes could be more detailed, but there are lots of helpful reviews on line.

Great sound from this small dac.
Bought the DacMagic 100 yesterday for my new Samsung 4K TV that has only optical output, I’ve connected up to my Cyrus 6 amp and it sounds bloody good, very impressed with my first stand alone dac.
